It’s about damn time, says the person who has no real military experience! This has been a looooong time coming. Too bad they didn’t push back on the “narco-terrorist” boat strikes. We knew from the get-go that they were wrong, illegal, and Venezuela is not known *at all* for fentanyl! The military has finally stood up.
If only we knew all the reasoning behind the orders for all the attacks in the ocean in both places. Perhaps we would better understand why the military did what it did. There’s a lot we don’t know. That’s a hole that needs filling. Explanations would reduce the rage we are feeling.
We only know the situation of the Lincoln. We don’t know if other boats are having the same problems. But that whole group had been out there too long. Now that the Washington is heading that way, remember Denis spoke about that carrier group possibly being down a gunship. America wants its people to be away from Iran and back where they belong. Who knows how long it will be for some of them to be under repair from the extended mission time? We can guess it’s going to be months at a minimum.
Allow me to mention again that we have used up a lot of expensive munitions, and they are expensive and slow to restock because building them takes more than a week. We can’t easily replenish, so what does that mean for *all* of our boats on the ocean? Do we even have enough to protect ourselves?

Several U.S. military leaders warned Hegseth this month that prolonging President Donald Trump’s war with Iran would put the U.S. homeland at risk — essentially arguing the conflict is unsustainable, sources told the Washington Post. “Overall, the tenor from the military leadership is that the ongoing Iran operation, having reached the six-month mark, has been ‘too much for too long,'” an insider told the Post. Meanwhile, U.S. operations in Europe, Asia and Latin America have lost ships, aircraft and other equipment to the conflict, limiting their ability to conduct missions, the report stated.
We are so overstretched that something is about to snap. Iran is snickering up their sleeves. It’s really to the point where we need to leave the Persian Gulf. No one will help us, no matter how much Trump threatens or begs. This has not made us forget about Epstein or Ukraine. It’s pissed off the people of America (mostly). We can no longer afford a Forever War. And if we can’t afford that, we can’t afford Trump’s vanity projects either, of which the war was one, really. Petey Boy and Donnie need to have our people come home, wherever they are. Give it up.
