We can always count on Conway to lay it all out there if asked. He’s usually pretty polite, but not this time. It’s worth it! Trump isn’t helping his people for midterms. He won’t give up any of what he thinks is “his” money, no matter the source. Of course, by this point, it’s pretty obvious that Trump’s name attached to a candidate is pretty toxic. He’s not exactly making the best choices. Well, bad for them, good for Democrats and us.

We all know that Trump is only out for himself. Since he’s now worried about a Democratic Congress, you would think he’d help out Republicans. Nope. They are realizing that they are standing on shifting sand, and there’s no telling what’s beneath. How many of them are so underfunded and demoralized that they don’t particularly care about campaigning? Interesting question. It’s more likely than we might think at first glance. Republicans are getting burnt out.

Back to Raw Story for some specifics:

“The problem is he does not give a s— about anyone other than himself,” Conway said. “Trump is the most narcissistic human being we have ever seen in American politics. Full stop.” “It was kind of like the Janis Joplin song, ‘Lord, won’t you buy me a Mercedes Benz,'” said Conway. “It’s about the gospel of getting rich — and so that was the appeal of Trump… He gave a permission structure for everyone to be their worst selves.” “He is the malignant narcissist, the sociopath,” Conway said. “These people become more and more delusional over time because they create their own little world. That’s what Natalie Harp is about. She protects him.”

She certainly tries to, yes. What’s frightening is how completely dedicated she is to Trump. She doesn’t seem to realize that Trump will use her and then throw her away, just like he does to everyone else.

There was a book published back at the “beginning” of the Trump invasion called “The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump”, and the psychologists and psychiatrists were right on target. They identified different traits of Trump and explained them in a clear, frightening way. He is a narcissist; he is a sociopath, and there’s much, much more. Conway is right. And Trump has most *definitely* become more delusional over time. Look at him at the start of his term and then compare him to now. When you really start digging down into it, a lot has changed. We’ve just been stuck with him every day, so it’s challenging at first to see how he changed.

Sometimes we need people like George Conway to remind us and give us a refresher course in the craziness of Trump. And there are more people who remind us too, one being Jen Psaki, as mentioned earlier tonight. It’s good that they do, because it’s easy to get burnt out on Trump, and we miss the things we should notice. Stay around and stay on top of it, Mr. Conway.

Friends, I know everybody begs you for money. I promise you that, of all the outlets bugging you for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest-working. We’re a bunch of old, disabled people, except for one writer in his mid-50s. But the rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. All we’re asking for is the ability to continue our quest to tell the truth about Trump and help ensure democracy survives. If you can help, please do. Thank you. Ursula
