This is always the most difficult one. But the Furkids like to produce at least one a year, or more if needed. After the main images were completed, we suddenly lost two more of our darlings very close to each other, so I want to mention them here.
Hamish was a beautiful dog who was Phillip’s best friend in the world. In addition to daily walks, they hiked around northern England together. Phillip is a member of Creative Sprints, and we all welcomed Hamish there every day too.
Archie was Kate’s guard dog and youngest family member. He grew up with Kate’s youngest daughter and was her furbro and playmate.
They all leave their fur-shaped spaces in our aching hearts, and even though we know they have returned to the Angelic Realm, to their happy home filled with love and play and soul-furfriends, we miss them so very much.
To those who have gone before us, we know you are free and happy, that you haven’t left us but are with us in spirit. Sometimes we catch a glimpse of you from the corner of an eye; we feel you jump up on the bed, we hear your soothing purr, and we see you in our dreams. One day we will be together again, but until then, know you are loved always.
When you’re ready, press play and scroll down to the illustrated lyrics.

Thank you to everyone who bought the Furkids a frothy Kofi last week. All proceeds from ko-fi.com/furkids go towards Loula’s health and well-being. We’re saving up for her next vet visit. In the meantime, Loula sends everyone loads of purrs, snuggles and kitty kisses.

It was worth every hour and every tear shed while creating it, and I had spiritual help every step of the way.
