Oil is the new COVID. That was “going to disappear one day, like a miracle.” It stayed. Likewise, oil and gas were no problemos. We had plenty — until we didn’t. Luckily for us, there is always a tweet and a video somewhere.

Fascinating how reality always catches up, isn’t it. All we knew before, all that the MAGA troops knew, was that we had nothing to worry about. And now — just before the midterms — we will find ourselves not tapping into the oil reserves. Just a coincidence, right?
