Probably. Trump is unhappy with someone else, and it’s a pity. He’s not a bad guy. He’s trying to survive and do what’s asked of him. It seems he has involuntarily done that which Trump can’t stand. A question comes to mind. When will it happen? And what will he do after that? My regards to Raw Story:
Journalist Michael Wolff, who has written four books about Trump, said during a new episode of “Inside Trump’s Head” with co-host Hugh Dougherty, executive editor of The Daily Beast, that Trump will likely fire Secretary of State Marco Rubio because Rubio has upstaged Trump at times. Wolff said that is a “fatal” flaw in Trumpworld.
My, my, my, Upstaged Trump. That’s not exactly an easy thing to do. Can’t recall any incidents like that. So, if anyone knows, please tell me. It’s hard to see how Trump could have been upstaged. Those words don’t work together. But it looks like we’re going to lose one of the few decent people in the administration. It sounds familiar because he did that in his first term. But if you don’t suck up to Trump enough, you’re not just toast, but burned toast.
“In Trumpworld, this is absolutely fatal. When you become the contrast gainer against Donald Trump, you’re finished,” Wolff said. “When it begins to look like you are the person who is really in charge, you’re done.”
“You cannot do this around Donald Trump,” he added. “He just won’t let you. He’ll kill you — just chop off your head.”
Well, that’s an unsettling image. Trump will clobber anyone who looks better than him. It seemingly doesn’t matter if it was unintentional. You’re done. This is one of the pettiest reasons we’ve ever seen from Trump, and it only makes sense in his head. Rubio looked better, so he has to go. And who will take over what he’s been working on?
Wolff added that Rubio put himself in danger by being one of the few competent cabinet members in Trump’s second term. He said Rubio is “the only guy who seems to show up for work every day and to sit down at a desk and to be capable of addressing what’s on his desk at any given time.”
That’s going to be quite a loss. Yes, he’s currently working for Trump. No, he’s not nearly as slimy as the other ‘cabinet’ members. Trump always throws away the good ones, as we well know. This is one person who must have been able to redirect Trump on some things. A very small guardrail that now looks to be taken away. No one reading this has to like him. Nevertheless, when he gets punted out, we should wish him well. We know that whoever comes in next will not be someone who knows what he or she is doing. Trump likes broken people.
See you soon!!
Friends, I know everybody begs you for money. I promise you that of all of the outlets bugging you for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest working. We’re a bunch of old, disabled people, except one writer in his mid-50s. But the rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. All we’re asking for is the ability to continue our quest to tell the truth about Trump and help ensure democracy survives. If you can help, please do. Thank you. Ursula

I think I saw a headline about Rubio polling as the new Republican favorite for president in 28. That could have been what did it for Trump.
