This is an interesting bookend commentary. During Trump 1.0, the watchword was “This is the moment Trump became presidential.” It was greatly awaited, particularly by then-Speaker Paul Ryan. Ryan couldn’t get enough of anticipating the great moment when Trump miraculously grew up and into the job that he held. Now, in Trump 2.0, the watchword is fugedaboutit. It’s never going to happen and that fact has become one to celebrate. Paula White is so animated in this clip she will remind you of Donald Trump, Jr. (?!)

We’re all entitled to a God of our understanding. I just cannot subscribe to this meddlesome micromanager version of God, who lifts people up and/or puts them down and in this equation free will is totally forgotten. Americans exercised free will during the election in 2024. Trump won by 1.5%. I really don’t see where this is any kind of cosmically ordained God-authored miracle. Rather, I put the blame (or credit, as you will) on right-wing media for lying and a complacent and complicit mainstream media for sanewashing all the lies.
We live in a world of lies and liars and you will go long and far to find a bigger liar than Paula White.
