Here we had been thinking we were going to get rid of a judge. No such luck. He’s staying put. WHY can’t we get rid of this blatantly corrupt judge? He always makes decisions for Trump’s benefit instead of being an actual *judge*. Does he even remember the law anymore? It certainly seems like he doesn’t. Justice Samuel Alito, who was appointed by former President George W. Bush, ” is not stepping down this term and is in the process of hiring the rest of his clerks for the next term,’ a source told Fox News Digital. Two other sources told Fox News that Alito is not retiring this term, which lasts until the Supreme Court’s new year kicks off in October. Justices tend to hire their clerks two to three years in advance, although that process is not necessarily indicative of a justice’s retirement plans.”
See what I mean? Alito and Thomas are a pair. All Trump all the time. Corrupt as all get out and doesn’t care who notices. They always come up with an excuse. It’s tiring. They are crooked degenerates. Everyone knows that most of SCOTUS is only there for the money and the prestige. The other possible problem is who Trump puts in there.

Oh, joy. Alito’s done a book. I have absolutely zero desire to have one. If I got it for, say, two dollars, then I would burn it. Yes, I’m weird and very, very, very occasionally mean because someone deserves it. True true. Alito is known. We know who and what he is. And we know how he will vote, and he’ll never be ashamed of his versions of grifting. He’ll just get more corrupt.
Alito staying on the court is one of the best possible scenarios for us. As bad as Alito is, you KNOW Trump would find someone even WORSE. But here is the all important kicker. Trump would replace Alito with a YOUNG puke which would mean we would be stuck with a knuckle dragging, right wing stooge for ANOTHER 40+ years. Much better for us if we can make it to 2029 with Alito still on the court. Then at least we would have a chance to replace him with a good justice and start to reverse this draconian SCOTUS balance.
Also worth noting that IF we could actually take back the Senate majority in 2026, even if Alito retires at that point, we can block ANY appointment to the court that Trump would attempt to make.
