He should have seen this coming. There’s a certain thing that’s *still* on everyone’s mind, war or no war. He is now the acting AG for the United States. Let’s hope he has a brain to think with, because he’s already stumbled once, and it’s only been a few days since he was elevated. We may have something or nothing to look forward to. Pro-MAGA Real America’s Voice host Gina Loudon warned future interim Attorney General Todd Blanche that he must follow through with his duty to release the Jeffrey Epstein files. During a Friday segment about Attorney General Pam Bondi’s firing, Loudon said that the RAV audience had predicted her ouster. “Our entire chat every single day was full of the fact that they believed that it was time for her to go,” she said. “But I do think that Epstein files, we need a lot more attention on them. And I’m very discouraged that current acting AG Todd Blanche says there is no evidence that Epstein was a spy to anyone or any government.”
Oooo-kay. This is coming from a MAGA far-right host. She’s already disappointed with him. And she’s laying it right out there. Why does he seem so oblivious to the whole issue of the Epstein files? He *has* to know there is more to go. He has to. So spouting off some words that sound good but don’t mean anything is an error in judgment. He knows what happened to Blondi. He can’t possibly have missed the law in place, especially after his conversations with Ghislaine and moving her to a much more luxurious “prison”.
Loudon said she couldn’t understand why Blanche would pick the day Bondi was fired to antagonize the MAGA faithful about Epstein. “You know, it’s just not even that he said it or even if, from what he can tell, it’s true. It’s that he decided that’s what was going to make news,” she explained. “Right? That’s what he wanted to point out. Not oh my goodness the Epstein files were mishandled.”
Yup, we all know about the mishandling. It was obvious, especially some of the redactions and non-redactions on the ones she finally released. It should also have been obvious to Blanche that we aren’t going to let go of the release of the remaining Epstein files. The full pages of black were ridiculous. NOT redacting all the information for the victims is going to bite them. Hard.
“It all needs to be brought back,” she added. “I’ll tell you, MAGA is just not going to let this issue go away. And for those who don’t believe me, all you have to do is look on X or look on getter or look in our chats any day of the week.” “And I can tell you the Epstein files have not seen their last day. And nor should they have.” Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) has warned Blanche that he could face criminal complaints if he does not release the Epstein files.
Ah, yes, thank you Rep Massie!!! If I recall correctly, he came out with that statement the same day Bondi was fired, and Blanche was elevated. Blanche has been put on notice that we expect the remaining files. Trump and Israel starting a war did not distract from the files for more than a day or two. We don’t want to be in that war, either. The maladministration should take note of this. We’re unhappy. Trump doesn’t care, but the rest of them should. It’s back to a waiting game, again.

i think blanche sees his job as going after trump’s enemies and killing the epstein issue. there’s nothing stopping him from doing the latter and as far as congress goes he’ll just ignore them. that’s kind of his thing.
Going after Trump’s enemies is definitely the main part of that job.
I certainly wish Congress could put pressure on him in such a way that he would have to answer. They may think Epstein is going away but it’s not and it won’t.
I’m wondering if Blanche’s last name will turn out to be oddly appropriate when thought of in cooking terms. In cooking ‘blanching’ is parboiling or steaming food items to whiten them, remove flavor or remove the skin. He’s already set himself up (with Maxwell) to get himself politically and perhaps even legally ‘skinned.’ He’s already on a cutting board held next to a pot of boiling water and could easily be slid in to be parboiled or into a metal basket to get blanched via steaming. I’m not sure which one would be more painful. I like to cook and have suffered from (thankfully small) instances of boiling water being splashed on my hands, and also of not being careful and getting steam burns. I rather enjoy the thought of Blanche getting the political or legal version of either one.
Ha, VERY nice! I also have done the boiling water splashes and steam burns. As soon as it’s on the way to you, that’s when you realize this was not a bright idea. My husband and I share the cooking.
