Let’s start my day with some humor. Ms. Maddow was a guest on a podcast recently, with one of the subjects being talking with Trump. She was pretty brutal, and it’s worth the short time to read. We all know and love Ms. Maddow and Ms. Psaki. These are two extremely knowledgeable people. They are also masters of snark. Acknowledgement to Raw Story:

MS NOW’s Rachel Maddow revealed on the latest podcast episode of “Clock It with Symone & Eugene” some of the things she’d ask of President Donald Trump, if she hypothetically managed to sit him down for an interview. Maddow prefaced her explanation by saying she isn’t terribly interested in interviewing Trump in the first place, because it’s exactly what he thrives on: he wants “for everybody to be thinking about him and talking about him all the time.”

That’s really a succinct description of Trump. Leave it up to the pros to find the exact right words to encapsulate him. Thinking and talking about him. We do it here at Pz, although he’d never admit it. We’re far too small for him to consider. That’s not a bad thing. It lets us do what we do in relative peace.

That said, she added, “People say, ‘Oh, if you could interview Donald Trump, what would you ask him?’ I don’t know. I would probably ask him, ‘Is Africa a country?’ Like, I would ask him, ‘How many R’s are in ‘strawberry’?'” Podcast hosts Symone Sanders Townsend and Eugene Daniels burst into laughter.

You know he wouldn’t be able to answer those simple questions correctly. His worldview is skewed towards him, so he will answer with what *he* thinks is correct, and ignore those of us who know the truth. It’s like “the war is going great” and “two weeks” (for whatever event is to occur). Sadly, his lies are getting more and more blatant. We recognize them before he’s even finished a sentence.

In recent months, Trump has come under much of the same mental fitness scrutiny that plagued former President Joe Biden for the final years of his term. The Guardian columnist Gaby Hinsliff laid out a devastating analogy recently, remarking, “If you are reading this as the son or daughter of elderly parents whose memories have begun to falter, you will know how long it often takes from the first uneasy gut feeling that something has changed to what might ultimately lead to a conclusive medical diagnosis – and how many sleepless nights lie in between.”

Whether or not anyone agrees, I thought former President Biden was doing just fine. He was ill at the debate. But, back to Trump. It’s about damn time he is coming under scrutiny for his mind, becoming a lack thereof. He’s obviously got problems. Former President Biden was hammered time and time again, including by his so-called friends, about his mind going. It’s time to clobber Trump for the same thing. And if he gets compared to former President Biden, all the better. He deserves to be in the same kind of hell that former President Biden was put through.

See you soon!

Friends, I know everyone begs you for money. I promise that among all those asking for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest-working. We’re a group of old, disabled people, except for one writer in his mid-50s. The rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. All we’re asking for is the chance to keep telling the truth about Trump and help ensure democracy survives. If you can help, please do. Thank you. Ursula
