Remember Blondi’s bomb yesterday? Just found out SCOTUS has a hearing about this very thing this week. It’s truly worrying. If Trump wins, we’re doomed. A whole lot of people are doomed. All for some angry white but orange-faced man-baby who has lost his mind. At a guess, this is part of his immigration insanity. Why is this so important? Because he wants it? What a bunch of hooey from the orange tin god and his ‘cabinet’. My compliments to Raw Story:
This week, the Supreme Court is set to hear the hotly-watched case on whether President Donald Trump can abolish the 14th Amendment’s guarantee of birthright citizenship by executive order. And most people think he’ll lose, justice correspondent Ken Dilanian told MS NOW’s Katy Tur on Monday. This comes as Trump ups his social media attacks on the justices, warning them not to be “dumb” as they hear the case.
We all want him to lose. He’s treating immigrants like cattle, with no say in their own destiny. Think about all they went through to get here. The US (used to) stand for freedom and a better life. With Dingdong Donnie as ‘president’, they must be really desperate at home to try to come here. They want to work. They will take the jobs that many people think they are “too good for”. They want a life without the fear they had to live with at home. And now they have to live with fear here, in the place that was supposed to be better.
“Ken, let’s talk about the Supreme Court,” said Tur. “So he tried to do this by executive order. This case has already been considered by the Supreme Court more than 100 years ago. What is going to be considered this week?” “Yes. And that was the case about the son of Chinese immigrants living legally in the United States,” said Dilanian, referencing United States v. Wong Kim Ark.
“And so what Donald Trump and his solicitor general and a few conservative scholars are bringing to the court are some fringe arguments that have been rejected for more than a century. As you said, the 14th Amendment clearly says ‘All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States,’ and that term, ‘subject to the jurisdiction,’ has been held not to include diplomats and invading armies and initially Native Americans, although that was changed later. But now Donald Trump and his allies are trying to say that that should also not include people who are here illegally.”
Right. Last I knew, the vast, vast majority of immigrants are trying to become citizens. But until they do, they must be considered illegal, even with all they’ve done with the courts and so on. Remember, ICE grabs people right outside the courtrooms. We have a judge who was arrested for felony obstruction and concealing an individual to prevent arrest, and, I just discovered, was convicted of the felony!!!!!! What the holy eff! (She stays on the list of BadA$$ judges.) This is bugging me. It seems she was supposed to be a lesson to other judges about helping immigrants. So not only do we have immigrants trying to become legal, but we have snatch-and-grabs going on in the courthouses. We have a judge who was trying to protect an immigrant from bullshizzle. So much for her career.
“And look, he’s already predicting he’s going to lose,” said Dilanian. “Most legal scholars think he’s going to lose this. And this will be the second major defeat after tariffs. And politically, it will allow him to blame the court and say that he tried to fight the good fight, and he lost. And it’s going to further poison his relationship with this court, which is one of the most conservative courts in decades.”
Despite the consensus he’ll lose, continued Dilanian, “there are an increasing number of fringy legal scholars who have come to adopt the idea that maybe there is — it is time to take another look at this, that maybe that initial decision was wrong. So, I don’t think you can completely rule it out. But some conservative justices have hinted in previous arguments that they have very little patience for this argument and that there, you know, it would just, it would just throw 100 years of jurisprudence into chaos.”
BOOM. No one wants to change this Amendment except Dangerous Donnie and his ‘cabinet’. What’s the point? Seriously! His ancestors were immigrants. Nearly everyone’s ancestors would be immigrants. That’s a strength of our country, a melting pot of many people and countries. Trump will still think SCOTUS will do his will, since, except for tariffs, they have done what he wanted. This is yet another cruelty is the point. We need the Supreme Court to be lawyers instead of lackeys. We’ll have to keep hoping. Please let this work out right.

Granted it is his mindset but he is articulating what far too many, starting with the eerie Stephen Miller and going all the way into to the assenting but silent whites all over the country. That’s the cancer that must be addressed and eradicated. Only then will all be equal, one nation under God
