Is Donald Trump turning into a seer in his old age? He can predict the future now? I’m sure Gavin Newsom will be glad to hear this. This might be one of the few times, if any, that Newsom and Trump are both on the same page. Naturally, Trump gets in his usual diss, “new scum” but unless somebody edited this, it sounds like Trump is calling Newsom the commander in chief.

Sounded weird, did it not? And yes, Newsom admits to being dyslexic and having a learning disability. He also overcame said disability and has done very well for himself as an actual politician, not a game show host playing a politician.
Newsom uses the story of his learning disability as an inspiration, that hard work and persistence will overcome a disability. This isn’t the first time I’ve heard that so I tend to believe it.
And Trump of course has to make it into something ugly and shameful. That’s because Trump’s a vulgar idiot and I don’t know of any cure for those particular maladies. Maybe Trump can ask the Governor of California if he knows.
Meanwhile, it sounds like he’s decided not only who the next Democratic nominee is, but also who the next president is. Does that mean that Trump doesn’t think that either J.D. Vance or Marco Rubio can defeat Newsom? Maybe this is a Freudian slip of some kind of maybe just plain common sense, considering how Trump is trashing the GOP nowadays.
As the prophet Lindsey Graham decreed, “If we nominate Trump he will destroy us…and we will deserve it.” That tweet is still live in Lindsey’s account.

Newsom made fun of Trump for appearing to accidentally refer to the governor as president. “NO THANK YOU, WE BELIEVE IN FREE ELECTIONS!” he posted on X.
