Denver Riggleman doesn’t mince any words. The way the Iran war has been run so far is beyond ludicrous, to the point where Riggleman suggests that Trump is a three year old with a full bazooka and a full diaper. Trump’s fundraising efforts also come under fire. What is Trump fundraising for, a mythical third term? Or he just figures he doesn’t have enough gilt at Mar-a-Lago and that needs to be remedied?
Trump caught a lot of hell, and so did Fox News, for wearing that baseball cap at the dignified transfer of the remains of our fallen troops. Now he takes the very same image and shoves it in peoples’ faces, using it as a fundraiser. What’s that all about? The only thing I can think of is that Trump is saying that he uses whatever imagery he wants and if you don’t like it, that’s your problem.
I frankly wouldn’t be surprised if Trump takes to wearing his ballcap at all future dignified transfers (and more will come if we stay in this stupid war) as a means of changing — and debasing — our protocol.
