My goodness gracious. Someone just got busted, and well, she should have. Her behavior to date has grown increasingly reprehensible. It’s not just stretching the truth or forgetting to tell the whole truth. Now? She’s been busted for a flat-out lie. There’s no cowboy hat that can hide this one. This is a day late. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem’s sensational story about a self-cannibalistic immigrant on a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement deportation flight never happened, according to a new report. Noem spun the lurid yarn over the summer while standing beside President Donald Trump at a news conference and later told Fox News’ Jesse Watters that federal agents had “detained a cannibal and put him on a plane to take him home.”
Busted, indeed. That was quite the *extreme* lie. We should have heard about this supposed cannibal much earlier than someone on a deportation flight. No one is going to want to be anywhere near him. This story would have stretched even Hannibal Lecter’s creativity (had to put that in just for Trump). What was she thinking? Someone would, and did, figure out it was a lie.
“These are the kinds of deranged individuals that are on our streets in America that we’re trying to target and get out of our country because they are so deranged, they don’t belong here. They shouldn’t be walking the streets with our children, and they shouldn’t be living in the communities with our families.” Noem claimed that a U.S. Marshal witnessed the disturbing scene, describing how the man “was literally eating his own arms.” Three federal law enforcement officials, including those from her own department, told The Intercept no such thing happened.
We should probably be thinking *she* is the one who’s deranged. She’s getting further and further out there with all her stories, supposedly witnessed by someone or another. She and Kra$h are blocking investigations into the shootings by *HER* people, because they were in the wrong, and the agents doing the shooting should damn well go to prison. But she insists the agents were in fear for their lives. Yea no. The cannibal man is just another thing she knows she’s wrong about, but wants attention. Show us the proof! There’s always something she can use, and if not, she improvises. Sheesh!
“That is completely made up,” a senior federal law enforcement official told The Intercept. “That never happened.” “They went to ERO,” one source told the outlet, referring to ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations, which handles the standard immigration enforcement process of identifying, arresting, and deporting immigrants. “There was no information about it. It never took place. It’s a lie.” When asked whether the fabrication originated from Noem or U.S. Marshals, one official bluntly replied, “Noem.”
As we were discussing, it’s a fabrication. Gnome is getting in some good practice for lying. She’s getting creative, too. It’s pretty much a given that we *need to demand* proof for her stories. These are creepy, and nightmares may happen. She’s a nightmare herself. We should be wondering what is going on inside her head, especially since she’s been going downhill. Unfortunately, this seems to be the republican playbook. Create a boogeyman story, namely some immigrant, and then claim to “save us and protect us” from them.
