Once again, the DoJ is trying to pull a fast one with their latest drop of Epstein files. They are not doing their due diligence for the survivors, but they *are* hiding other names. Male names. Gee, what does that sound like to you? Cover-up, maybe? Thank you, Raw Story:
President Donald Trump’s administration is protecting at least six of convicted sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein’s co-conspirators, lawmakers alleged on Monday. Reps. Ro Khanna (D-CA), Jamie Raskin (D-MD), and Thomas Massie (R-KY) were among the lawmakers permitted to review what were supposed to be unredacted versions of the Epstein files on Monday.
Instead, lawmakers reviewed documents of which 70% and 80% contained redactions that Trump’s FBI was supposed to remove by law. Some of the files mentioned names of six co-conspirators, all of whom were redacted, the lawmakers said.
Why is this not a surprise, and how have we gotten to the point that it isn’t a surprise anymore? These people should be arrested for this … this rape! But *they* are being protected while the *victims* are not. And every time I hear about the victims not being redacted, the angrier I get. We are supposed to protect *them*, not the men! I also want to slap Blondi, but that’s irrelevant.
Massie told Politico that one of the co-conspirators appeared to be a U.S. citizen, two others were from foreign countries, and the nationalities of the rest of the co-conspirators were unknown. “What we’re after is the men who Jeffrey Epstein trafficked women to,” Massie told the outlet, adding that it was time for Trump’s Department of Justice to “correct its mistakes” in handling the files. The lawmakers blasted the Trump administration for redacting the names while publicly releasing the names of victims.
Yes, that. If only there were a way to get Blondi *on the stand* and ask her to explain herself. Protecting the victims was supposed to be the most important part of the whole thing. Apparently, the 1,000 FBI agents reviewing the files didn’t think that part was important. It’s only Trump and his buddies. This was blatantly deliberate, and people need to answer for it! Moving on to more from the article:
“A lot of it was smoke and mirrors,” Khanna told the MeidasTouch Network. “There’s no excuse for releasing survivors’ names while protecting these six men,” he added. Raskin didn’t hold back when he spoke to Politico about the files. “We didn’t want to see any redactions of the names of co-conspirators, accomplices, enablers, abusers, rapists, simply to spare them potential embarrassment, political sensitivity or disgrace of some kind,” Raskin said “And yet nonetheless, the Epstein … documents that were released are filled with redactions of names and information about people who clearly are not victims and may fall into that other category.”
Words fail me, and I should just scream out some of the anger. But I won’t because it’s oh dark hundred (aka 02:10 am). However, one of our neighbors is constantly slamming their door and waking us up at oh dark hundred. But moving on, this is stuff and nonsense. We know they’re redacting Trump. And there are those among us who will figure it out. But the victims are probably having nightmares now, because everything was splashed out on the latest drop. Now *they* have to figure out what to do, and if it means going into hiding. What a crock.
Friends, I know everyone begs you for money. I promise that among all those asking for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest-working. We’re a group of old, disabled people, except for one writer in his mid-50s. The rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. All we’re asking for is the chance to keep telling the truth about Trump and help ensure democracy survives. If you can help, please do. Thank you. Ursula
