What in the hell were they thinking??!!!! An elderly couple. What the hell were they expecting them to do, have races with walkers across icy parking lots? President Donald Trump’s immigration forces stunned observers on Wednesday after they drew their weapons on an elderly couple in a church parking lot in Minneapolis. The retired couple spoke with journalists outside the church on Wednesday, where Trump’s immigration agents were trying to catch members of the congregation as they left the building. The operation happened just days after the federal government arrested protesters who attended a church service in St. Paul and questioned one of the pastors over his ties to the local Immigration and Customs Enforcement field office.
Nowhere is sacred anymore, and pun *not* intended. ICE never should have bothered these people. ICE should stay the hell away from churches and schools. Nowhere is safe. They don’t even need a warrant to barge into your home. Can you imagine? Nice long life, retire, spend time with family and friends, maybe putter in the garden, go to church, get guns pulled on you. Maybe not. It’s challenging to write when I’m this pissed off.
“ICE agents who had the audacity to come and try to arrest and kidnap people leaving church on a Sunday morning,” the man remembered. “We turned into a parking lot and were greeted by approximately four unmarked ice vehicles with agents who immediately stopped us and pointed semi-automatic weapons in our face, asked us to roll down the windows, and threatened us multiple times with arrest.”
“They had the professional demeanor of criminals,” the man added. The interactions stunned observers, who shared their thoughts on social media. //// “Yep, classic Antifa terrorist types right here. Oma and Opa were clearly out looking for violence, and not just bringing some hot dish to the Elks lodge,” lawyer Christopher Odell posted on Bluesky.
Come on, ICE, *really*??!!! One would expect they had multiple agents per vehicle, so four seems excessive, but then again, it was a church service, so maybe they thought they could grab multiple people. The ICE seen in public is a bunch of moronic goons. They *don’t* think, they just wave their dicks around and act tough. Posturing does not make them skilled or imposing. It’s just bravado. It’s just horsesh*t.

It would be no surprise if some of them were Proud Boys or Oath Keepers. ICE would be *right* up their alley when it comes to supporting Trump. Yes, also thugs. We should likely accept that ICE had almost everyone come from the dark underbelly of America. It’s not dark anymore. They’re right out here in the light.
Friends, I know everyone begs you for money. I promise, among all those asking for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest working. We’re a group of old, disabled people, except for one writer in his mid-50s. The rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. Damn, I forgot about this. *fume*. My money paying those thugs, even partially, pisses me off.
So you’ll be arrested and accused of terrorism for entering a church as a form of protest but the ICE/DHS thugs can lay in wait to “round up” people for no reason outside those same churches (and some have actually attempted to enter churches) for the SOLE purpose of terrorizing people, regardless of who they are.
We need to ensure that EVERY SINGLE NAME receiving a paycheck from CBP, DHS and ICE is retained so they can, each and every one, explain EXACTLY what they did or witnessed before these CRIMINALS are tried for civil rights violations, human rights violations, war crimes (as applicable) and wanton cold-blooded murder.
This is why I was so torn about the ICE list. These people need to give us answers. But do they need to die for it? It’s a horrible moral question. Overall I agree that they need to provide ANSWERS, real answers, not just some bullsh!t. All of them do. Abusing people is not an excuse. Their actions speak for them. But can they tell us why? That’s going to be interesting.
