Well, now, RS had this little story pop up that was fascinating because it talked about Trump and his grandkids and strongly implies it’s because he’s a pedophile. On the surface, it’s oh, another stupid thing about Trump, but this one has a kernel of truth that is worth seeing. Now, the boys ought not be concerned because we’ve never seen anything except Trump with underage girls. And it’s because of the underage girls who were written about and seen up to this point in the Epstein files that they should be careful around granddaughters. A caller on C-SPAN’s Washington Journal program advised President Donald Trump’s family to keep his grandchildren away from him. “Yeah, my top story for the year is, of course, the Epstein files,” Darrell, a Democrat from Georgia, explained to host Mimi Geerges. “We all know that we got a pedophile in the White House right now, and I would advise Ivanka Trump, which is his daughter, and Lara Trump, his daughter-in-law, to please hide the grandbabies.”
Okay, as discussed in the lead-in paragraph, the boys should be okay, though it’s worth checking every so often, but the girls? Oooooooof. Don’t let them be with him unsupervised. That’s a “Danger Will Robinson Danger!” type of thing. Better safe than sorry, y’know? You wouldn’t ordinarily think of that with his family, but after seeing his pictures with Ivanka, it’s honestly something to be aware of. And don’t forget, “if she weren’t my daughter, I would date her.” That’s probably paraphrased, but still. High squick factor. Brain bleach and wire brushes are happily provided by request.
“Do not let these grandbabies go around Papa, Papa Trump,” he continued, “because we all know he’s a pedophile.” The caller ended by urging C-SPAN to stand up against attempts at censorship from the Trump administration. “That guy with the FCC, [Brendan Carr] and Trump and the rest of them clowns over there, they’re going to do everything they can to try to shut C-SPAN down,” he remarked. “But I know you guys are going to stand strong and let us keep on calling in.”
Okay, it went sideways from where we were, but it’s also a legitimate concern. So many things are being taken over by Trump, to their detriment (read: the Kennedy Center), that if anyone left tells us they need help, then we ought to jump on board for them. And still, hide the grandbabies. He shouldn’t have had to say that. And as much as we detest Trump, well, looking out for the grandbabies and grandkids is an excellent idea.
