This is rich. This is truly a howler. Now are the chickens finally coming home to roost and where? Why in good ole boy Iowa, where else? And from none other than the nonagenarian senior senator, Chuck Grassley. Grassley has had it up to the top of his cornstalks with RFK, Jr. and his antics, at least if this sweet tweet is any indication.

You see how the last three words were all-caps? It’s as if Grassley just could not keep himself from screaming and so he didn’t even bother to try. Chuck, Chuck, simmer down. You’ll pop a vessel. And is that idiot with the grating voice and the even more grating personality worth it?
What I’d love to hear either from Grassley or from anybody who voted to confirm Kennedy is what the hell did they expect? They had access to the same oppo research as the Democrats. They knew all about dead bears and brainworms. They thought that all that wasn’t the indicator of an unhinged mind and somehow Kennedy would morph into some balanced and reliable kind of an individual as soon as he got confirmed? In what universe?
Let’s see if Grassley does something about this besides bitch on Twitter. How about Grassley does something actually significant, like openly confront Kennedy and anybody else that Kennedy associates with on what they intend to do and then publicize the hell out of any negative consequences arising therefrom? That is, after all, Grassley’s job. He didn’t do his job when he confirmed Kennedy but it’s never too late to turn over another leaf.
I like the veiled threat tone of this. “He better not follow CALLEY ON PESTICIDE” (does the good senator know that such things as punctuation marks exist? I would have loved to count the exclamation points.) The obvious rejoinder from Kennedy should be, “Oh yeah? And what happens if I do?”
Maybe the two of them will get into it. This could be a real howler. Kennedy doesn’t live much in the real world. He’s been too insulated by his wealth and his own mental problems to pay too much attention to reality. Maybe Grassley, who knows the reality of a farm state, can teach Kennedy a thing or two.
Meanwhile, Grassley should educate Joni Ernst on the price of a bushel of soybeans. She truly did not know that when asked the last time she ran for election. Shocking but true.
The Repugs confirmed any old asshole Trump presented to them. Granted, RFK Jr was the most obviously insane, but they’re all inept.
