Well, it appears that there is at least one MAGA pair that’s quite unhappy with our Dear Leader and his crap. They’re disillusioned and disappointed. What did they expect? Their businesses are having trouble. Tariffs don’t work for the American public. They’ve seen the “profits” going to the government, nothing to them. They’ve had it with Trump because Trump, who should be working for the public, is falling on his face when trying to stumble around, and is only thinking of himself. It took them long enough! And so, they decided to speak out. From WaPo via AlterNet:
A Georgia couple that voted for President Donald Trump says they feel duped and that the president has not made good on his promises, according to a report in the Washington Post. [EDIT: subscription required] “Fruit’s getting outrageous now,” Meadows said, adding that it’s not just Trump’s economy on which she is souring. She isn’t the only one. A quarter of conservative voters disapprove of Trump’s handling of the economy, according to the most recent polls. Her husband, who runs the local funeral home, is struggling as well, saying he’s having a hard time avoiding raising prices and blames Trump’s policies for that, too, calling the tariffs “unplanned and childish.”
It’s about time MAGA noticed that Trump is clobbering the economy, no matter how much he pontificates about tariffs bringing money in. That’s been written about before here. All he sees are dollar signs. He keeps cranking tariffs up. And up. And up. What good does that do? It means prices go up. And up. And up. Anyone who uses anything imported is paying the ridiculous tariffs Trump is throwing around with no rhyme or reason. When big box retailers have to start raising prices, you know that the smaller businesses are really getting clobbered trying to handle them. And that means the ones like this couple has can go under very quickly.
Meadows’ other big issue with Trump is one he is desperately trying to evade. Meadows also says that she isn’t happy with the president’s “dismissive attitude toward MAGA Republicans who wanted to see the government’s full files on convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, after Trump said last year that he was “inclined” to release that information.” It is because of this that Meadows plans to vote against her local Congressman in the upcoming GOP primary.
Evade Epstein? Gee, ya think??!!! There are those of us who knew he wasn’t going to release them, long before anyone in MAGA did. Apparently, they don’t know about ETTD. Now they are finding out, and seeing that Trump *never* keeps a promise. TACO clucks “in 2 weeks”, “in the next few days”. Lies, lies, lies. He doesn’t bother with pretending. He just lies to protect himself, and he does NOT want to release the papers. That *has* to say he’s in them, starting with AG Pam Blondi with the famous list/no list. He is *determined* to keep them under wraps. Don’t you wish we had one of those old-school thieves who sneak around to steal things?
“Is there anybody that can go up there and stay what they ran on?” she asked, saying she voted for Trump on his promises of “draining the swamp,” among other things. ““It seems like [he] went up there and made himself the king frog of the swamp,” she said.,” she said. Carter says Trump is “too focused on immigration,” and told WaPo he was “ashamed”‘ of his vote after seeing a Trump Truth Social tirade about what the president deemed as the “Epstein hoax.” Jessie was angry, says the WaPo. “She was MAGA, she decided, but MAGA wasn’t synonymous with Trump.” Make America Great Again “does not depend on one man,” Jessie added. “And if he abandons the movement, then we can continue on without him.”
BOOM. There we are. How long will it take before other MAGA folks see the same thing? It may be happening already – it’s just not being discussed publicly like this couple chose to do. Trump’s first 8 months have been a disaster. With all the crap that’s happening to the American people, more people have noticed than we know. It’s 98% certain. Let’s hope it continues.

Hmm. Who wants to bet that Drumpf’s registered or trademarked “Make America Great Again” so that anyone trying to “abandon” HIS movement and carry on without him will have to go through the process of creating a NEW name or face an inevitable lawsuit from Drumpf?
Well Trump won’t be around forever. But they’re fine with MAGA? Then they’ll continue on with J.D. Vance, Stephen Miller, and the rest of the white christian nationalists. Yes, I know Miller is technically Jewish, but for him that’s essentially the same thing as being white christian nationalist.
