This took some reading and re-reading to process. This guy ranks right up there with Epstein. Yes, it is that disgusting. It’s also horrifying for two reasons – the use of a version of Joe Biden’s name, and what he used it for. Let’s get right to it. From Raw Story:
A former GOP state lawmaker who went by the screen name “joebidennnn69” has pleaded guilty to distributing child sexual abuse material. Prosecutors say RJ May III, 38, who resigned from the South Carolina House of Representatives, “exchanged more than 200 explicit files of toddlers and young children on the Kik social media app during several days in spring 2024,” Newsweek reports. May changed his plea in the weeks ahead of his trial’s scheduled start, signing court papers Friday. He acted as his own attorney despite not having a law degree, and has been in custody since June, when a judge refused to grant him bond.
This is a wise decision by the judge. No, don’t let him out on the street again. He could very well flee to another country. He’ll never be able to come home, running from a case like this. Well, unless he’s lucky enough to have enough money to change his face and name. I find that unlikely, but then he’s made contact with others like him. So, it’s only a theory. We should just be glad he wasn’t let out.
He reportedly learned that prosecutors planned to present the evidence in his trial, which was previously slated to begin next month. The former state representative asked the judge to throw out the warrant to search his residence, computer, and mobile devices. He will officially change his plea on Monday when he is scheduled to appear in federal court.
Asked to have a warrant thrown out. That’s very telling. It makes one wonder what *else* could be found. Personally, there is no reason to toss it because more getting added to the record is not necessarily a bad thing. Not for this guy. He needs to go to jail for a LONG, LONG TIME. I’m surprised he’s been okay in jail, because even hardened killers hate child abuse. (Did Epstein really commit suicide on his own?)
May was elected in 2020 and helped found the South Carolina Freedom Caucus. He faces up to 20 years in federal prison with a minimum of five years, a fine of $250,000, and a term of at least five years of supervised release to follow any term of imprisonment, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office District of South Carolina.
NO, don’t give him a short sentence, not for this. Not for this. It’s stomach-turning, revolting, repulsive, sickening, and just plain WRONG. There are not enough words to describe what this is, what he is. Child abuse. Oh, HELL NO. (And folks wonder why I scream about Maxwell being moved to a much less restrictive, plush prison.)
Friends, I know everybody begs you for money. I promise you that of all of the outlets bugging you for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest working. We’re a bunch of old, disabled people, except one writer in his mid-50s. But the rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. All we’re asking for is the ability to continue our quest to tell the truth about Trump and help ensure democracy survives. If you can help, please do. Thank you. Ursula
