Despite President Donald Trump’s public plea for MAGA supporters to “drop the issue,” mentions of convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein in conservative podcasts surged more than eightfold over the past three weeks, according to a Wall Street Journal review released yesterday.
How about that? MAGA isn’t listening very well anymore. They actually don’t seem to be listening at all. The mind boggles. I must admit I’m a wee bit surprised. MAGA is his base. They’re Trump’s people. They *should* do what he says. But there’s dissension in the rank and file and most of them … aren’t.
Joe Rogan, widely regarded as one Trump’s most significant supporters, emphasized last week that he had drawn “a line in the sand” regarding how the administration is handling the Epstein controversy. The Journal’s report noted that while speaking on his podcast — which reaches a massive audience of tens of millions – Rogan criticized the president’s approach to the issue. And Rogan isn’t the only MAGA-aligned podcaster who has taken a more adversarial tone toward the administration regarding its handling of the case.
It upsets people when you find out about child trafficking. They don’t condone anything like that. As a matter of fact, nearly everyone gets upset by that because they’re *children*. This is why Ghislaine Maxwell shouldn’t get out of prison. She did the grooming of all those young girls for Jeffrey Epstein and, it appears, for others. Because of all the different ways Trump has been dodging, we’re pretty sure he’s *in* those files. Various pieces of information have shown Trump and Epstein together, which almost proves he is in those files. And if he is, well … pedophile is an ugly word.
This split highlights the latest turn in an escalating dispute within conservative circles over the government’s reportedly sluggish release of additional documents tied to Epstein, who died nearly six years ago. The divide is tearing apart the MAGA movement — the same base that pushed Trump to a second term. “Those conversations grew more than eightfold in the last three weeks despite Trump’s admonishment that MAGA drop the issue,” the report noted.
We are watching MAGA, El Presidente Imbécil’s base, fracture in real time. The show goes on, the denials go on, but for how long? Will Trump cave? He’s not going to have a choice soon. The calls will get louder and louder. House Republicans are likely hearing it from their constituents. Recessing early isn’t going to help. Nothing except releasing the files is going to help. Tariff nonsense is only a momentary distraction. *Anything* is only a momentary distraction. And remember, the world is watching with us.

Sleazy Ghislane didn’t just groom young girls for her Jeffrey, she took part in some of his assaults on them, accoring to sworn statements from some of the victims. And yes indeed “pedophile” is an ugly word, describing very evil people; so is “child rapist,” which is what the sexual abuse of a pubescent child is, under law. Pedophilia refers to sexual abuse of pre-pubescent children. Trump will pardon Maxwell, I fear, just like he pardoned other scum, but in a sane world, she’d spend her full 20 years inside.
