It seems the MAGA base, and many others, are tired of tRump (and the DOJ, and the FBI) and the dodging. They are nearing the end of their patience about this whole Epstein files thing. tRump is obviously doing everything he can to keep them under wraps, and his poll numbers show it.
MAGA is definitely noticing this. They think Agent Orange has a good reason not to release them, because he is in them, and doesn’t want to show that. Well, after one picture of him together with a young girl and Jeffrey Epstein with Ghislaine Maxwell, it should have told them right there. But now, enough other things have come out (hello Wall Street Journal article) that it’s nearly impossible to think he *isn’t* in them. That’s going to have them baying for his blood.
If he releases redacted files that appear to be hiding more than the young victims’ names (they don’t need to have that brought up again, and they certainly don’t need to have their names publicized!), that would do it. We’ll be positive that he’s in them. And then the world will be positive he’s in them, because you know they have to be watching. Any number of countries would be happy for him to be taken down. They’re damn near that now. Here’s the section from Raw Story that got me thinking about this.
“I think part of the reason that it is so gripping Washington, gripping the American people — Donald Trump’s poll numbers are plummeting now, 37 percent in the latest poll today — is because it speaks to a larger sense of corruption,” said former White House ethics czar Norm Eisen. “Donald Trump is in the White House, making tens of millions of dollars for himself off of that office. Donald Trump is breaking the law. Over about 200 courts have said you’re breaking the law in your official acts. He’s targeting these innocent migrants. These are not criminals. These are honest, working people who’ve come to our country to do jobs. So there’s a larger sense of corruption.”
Gee, ya think? He’s making money off of this, and part of that is from MAGA. We others shake our heads and come up with random ways to mock him. Really now, tRump NFT as Superman? Trump perfume? Get real. They will eventually go the way of most Trump endeavors and fail. The grift is much more visible in 2.0. That helps the disillusionment. The Epstein files are just the icing. Here’s one more interesting quote.
“It’s perfectly captured by Donald Trump here having buddied up with the rich and powerful who victimized — Jeffrey Epstein victimized the most vulnerable. That’s a slogan for the Trump administration: benefiting the rich and powerful,” Eisen continued. “Trump’s cronies, victimizing the most vulnerable in our country. That’s why it has such traction.”
There’s going to be trouble if El Presidente Imbécil (or his DOJ or his FBI) doesn’t release something soon. If the MAGA Shaman has told him to f*ck off, he’s losing his base. If Marjorie Taylor Greene (aka MTG) is calling him out, and she’s a diehard MAGA Trump faithful, that’s another bad sign. The longer he prevaricates, the more he will lose. We’ll say about damn time. When, not if, they turn on him, it’s going to be spectacular.
