The problem with stupid, especially political stupid is that it regenerates quicker than bunny rabbits. Give them a catchy slogan or image, and the next thing you know, you’re up to your knees in stupid.
The shine is quickly tarnishing on the Trump tariffs. Forbes magazine published an article a week or so ago that indicated that consumers are getting pissed off because the Trump Tax is starting to be felt when buying toys. You know, the stuff you buy, then wrap in bright paper with bows and give them to kids for like Christmas, birthdays, and sh*t? The prices are going up, and even MAGAt’s with MAGlets are starting to feel the pinch. And they don’t like it. Fortunately, this involves economics, you know, math and sh*t, so the MAGAt’s will blame whomever Glorious Bleater tells them to blame.
Unfortunately, with the current FrankenTrump immigrant detention policy, we have another pea-in-the-shell Trump con game going on. And again, because it involves numbers and facts, it is far beyond the flat-earth Trombies to comprehend and understand, but every other citizen with a room temperature IQ should be screaming bloody murder about it.
The con comes in two parts. One of them is already in full bloom, and we’ll all be feeling the effects in the fall. There is a perfectly good reason why Donnie Depends turned loose his jackbooted ICE thugs in California to make a statement. Despite its entertainment and tech prominence, California is one of the nations premier bread baskets, much the way Ukraine is the bread basket of Europe. If it grows, it likely grows in California.
As a result, there’s a large undocumented population in California, especially during harvest season, and that is like chum in the water for a shark. And when harvest time rolls around, all of us are going to be paying the price of Traitor Tot’s idiocy, through higher produce prices at the register. And if they catch them in California, they won’t be migrating up the coast to Oregon and Washington for those crops either. And if he unleashes his ICE hounds in states with meat packing facilities, look for sky high prices on beef, chicken, and pork while you’re at it. Hello inflation.
That’s the first pea-in-the-shell. The second is underground and subliminal, and even more despicable. At the moment, because of the kicky nickname, and the sudden congressional attention, Trump’s Alligator Alcatraz is hoging all of the national attention. But it isn’t the only one, they’re springing up like toadstools all over!
And here’s the 411. The simple fact is that El Pendejo Presidente and his soulless sycophants in the administration literally can’t run these internment camps! The government doesn’t have the clerical staff, support, maintenance, infrastructure or guard manpower available to it on their payroll to adequately staff all of these facilities. Short term they may be able to rely on available state resources and the national guard. But long term, and make no mistake my friends, this is built to be a long term project of deprivation and degradation, there’s only one solution.
Private contracting to private for-profit prison companies. Which is like having the foxes run the chicken coop. Privately run state prisons are a notorious cesspool. They are understaffed to maximize profits, and brutality is the coin of the realm to keep the prisoners in line. Say what you will about thugs guarding thugs, but what about psychopaths guarding 5’6″, 145 lb gardeners and lettuce pickers just trying to provide for their families back home.
Mark my words, and listen with both of your ears. This is only going to get worse. Traitor Tot is on a roundup crusade to make a cattle ranch look like getting the kids ready to get in the car to go to church. There are going to be more and more of these internment camps, which means more private for-profit prison companies getting rich.
There’s just one thing. None of this is funded by the current federal budget! This is all new sh*t. For every new contract the administration signs, it will need to go to congress for emergency funding. Which means more of your tax dollars to have Freddie Krueger standing guard over Jose the gardener. And since there is no way that the current deportation process, even kicked into overdrive can keep up with the intake. And now that ICE announced tonight that illegal immigrants have no bond rights, they can start hauling in people who have been here for decades. Watch the courts on this one, it’s a sure fire loser.
I thank you for the privilege of your time.

Apart from Lord Help us for the US citizen/taxpayer the bigger hurt with no way out is for those who are dragged into the clutches of the ICE storm and further caught up in the embrace of private contractors with little scruples regarding staff in terms of background, capability and training (compounded by a sudden growth in demand for labor). Not to forget those so entrapped will include US citizens, those who are deemed illegal through technicalities and so on. With no ethical or legal government oversight. My simple mind cannot extrapolate how such indviduals be able to navigate their way out of this morass and into a future even if the whole thing were to be stopped in a miraculously benign way.
