We’re still waiting to see what Dan Bongino decides to do. Word on the street is that he’s talking about quitting the FBI and I personally do believe that. It won’t be for whatever reason he cobbles together and presents to us, but he will quit, I think. The reason I say that is because Bongino has gone on record describing how much he hates working for the FBI. A few weeks ago he complained that he “stared at the four walls.” Yes, I’m sure working a criminal file requires a lot more effort than ranting on the airwaves. Speaking of which, take a look at the two Bonginos, one doing his podcast and the other a few weeks back on Sunday Futures.

If the eyes are the windows of the soul, the guy on the right is the walking dead. Talk about a sell out. But this is the norm in Trump world. It’s not a job, it’s being an acolyte in a death cult. The guy on the right is lifeless and unconvincing. And he’s saying the dead opposite of the guy on the left. They can’t both be right. Reminds you of Lindsey Graham back when he became one of Trump’s altar boys and people were talking about alien mind conversion.
MAGA is a death cult. Trump is a death cult leader. He kills Americans through his incompetence and he deadens the people who are around him. There’s a reason Melania gets compared to the Sphinx. You hang around Trump long enough and your humanity drains away. Something’s got to give.
Bongino did not report to work Friday amid speculation about his whereabouts, said a source familiar with the perspectives of DOJ leaders who also believes that Bongino is considering leaving.
This came after a confrontation Wednesday at a meeting with Bondi and White House chief of staff Susie Wiles during which Bongino and Patel were asked about a news story suggesting they were dissatisfied with the decision not to release any additional Epstein files, according to the source familiar with the perspectives of DOJ leaders and an additional source familiar with the meeting. The meeting was first reported by Axios.
The meeting “got pretty heated,” another source who was briefed on the meeting said.
“Bondi, [Deputy Attorney General] Todd Blanche, Patel and Bongino were on the same page on this all along, until the criticism started to come in,” the source familiar with DOJ leaders’ perspectives said. “Bongino couldn’t take it.”
You know what they say about heat and kitchens. Maybe it’s time for Bongino to make his exit. And one thing is certain, it would provide a distraction in the news cycle and that might buy Trump a few more days to figure out how he’s going to do the impossible and placate his base without actually revealing what is known about Epstein.
If I’m not mistaken he recently requested a service weapon (pistol) and badge. Like real FBI agents have. Maybe he’s all butt-hurt because they told him no. Or that sure he could have one once he successfully completed the full course of training at the FBI Academy down at Quantico. I’m sure they’d bump someone from the next class so HE could attend instead!
Of course, it’s a tough haul. There’s a LOT to learn and one part in particular he’d likely hate is that part of what they do is put on gloves and headgear and FIGHT each other. Yep. They insist trainees get used to fighting and getting hit, knocked down and having to keep fighting. That’s what can happen in the field and they want people who know what it feels like to get hit and even hurt.
Well, let him leave. He can make more money as a RWNJ podcaster and have a lot more fun since he’ll no longer be bound by pesky rules.

OR Bongino, possibly knowing more from being on the inside and being a MAGA figurehead, renews his podcast career with a splash i.e. one that gets headlines. Suggestions as to possible subjects?
