Um….loving and intimate are not words that come to my mind right now to describe this. But “pushy” and “trapped” do.

My take is that he’s got her in front of the cameras and by God, she’s going to go along with whatever he dictates. That’s the repetitive grab and she keeps pushing back and he keeps grabbing and so the bouncing back and forth. And whether this was before or after the weird “dance” I don’t know. Melania’s version of “dancing” seems to be to put your hands up like a kid about to play peas, porridge hot and then move them around like you’ve decided to finger paint instead. Grace, rhythm, agility, these are not words I would use to describe this sideshow. But then I guess all her talent is tied up as a linguist right? Six languages and all? Yeah, right, that must be it. That’s why there’s no time for dancing. Can you handle it in close up?

The tweet ends “from falling down.” BWAHAHAHAHAHA!! Oh yes, she walks around routinely in stilettos but has to cling to big strong Donald so as to not fall over. Dear Gawd, what next? (wipes away tears of laughter) Other comments that always get made when these two are weird in public is “she’s a lady and doesn’t want to mess up her make up.” That destroys me, too. A display of affection doesn’t destroy a makeup job. That is just gibberish because the body language between these two is so awkward and always has been. And hey, is makeup preservation is so key, then agree ahead of time that that’s the case and no spontaneous touchy, feely, the makeup comes first.
I think the little cat and mouse game with these two is that Melania always looks stiff and awkward around him and she comes by that naturally. She never was fluid when being photographed in her modeling days and that’s been noted by people who knew her back then.
Trump, boor that he is, likes to grab her whenever because he’s doing a photo shoot and she’s cast in the role of the adoring female. But she doesn’t want to play that role. If she really did adore him, you would get some indication of it. What keeps everybody glued to these two and their public charades is the clear discomfort of it all. Although this is mad passion compared to the time that she slapped his hand away when he reached for hers. That was classic. All the times that it happened.
He handles her like she’s a prop, not a leading lady. That’s what you’re seeing. But of course MAGA tells us it’s just our TDS getting the best of us. Right. These two are madly in love. Melania can’t stand to be apart from him. That’s why she doesn’t even live in the same house. I rest my case.
Whatever. Maybe she’s a cold fish. Or maybe she hates him because he cheated on her, or just because he’s an asshole. Either way, she stays. Maybe that’s because she fears he’ll deport her if she leaves. Any of this could be true, or none of it. I honestly don’t care if she’s in some dead-end trap of a marriage; her husband sets the standard for awful, but she’s kind of awful too!
