Newsmax engaged in some Hegeseth (and by extension Trump?) fluffing. Host Todd Starnes went on Xitter to offer praise over there not being a single leak. He even added a ‘Well Done’ to his tweet. Maybe he should have left well enough alone because normal, rational people recognize bullsh!t when they see it I don’t know if Starnes has been ratioed by now but I’m betting he will be..
Frankly, after news of the bombing of the three nuclear sites in Iran I was surprised not to see the meme makers go to work on Hegseth. Could it be he actually learned a lesson from Signal Gate? Naw. I say since he got shut out of the loop last week he didn’t have any inside information to brag about to some new Signal Chat Group. My point is that Hegseth “behaving” this time didn’t seem to get much notice. I stand corrected because it’s getting noticed now. Perhaps we should join in with the mockery.
Anyway as this article from The Independent tells us there were those who noticed and decided to have some fun at Hegesth’s expense. I hope this story grows, and that more and more journalists and people who are big names on social media pile on with the mocking. There’s funnier stuff I’ll get to. One leader made sure to make the point that being impressed for NOT spectacularly effing up doesn’t warrant saying nice things about someone. It seems many feel praising ‘Kegsbreath’ for not spilling the beans merits mockery rather than praise. Leading the charge we have AOC who offered a brutal takedown:

I agree. As I said so do others. The linked article is a short and FUN read. If widdle Petey gets all butt-hurt about it as I often say of anyone in Trump World getting some comeuppance I have zero f**ks to give. And, as I said folks are enjoying taking the shots at Hegseth he so richly deserves:

Again, I think we now know why Hegseth was “benched” last week. Call me crazy but a tiny bit of competence broke out in Trumpty’s inncer circle. Keeping Hegseth well away for a bit was a surefire way of ensuring he wouldn’t create a new Signal Chat group to share “guess what I know?” operational details! Petey was only allowed back in the fold once things were underway. That’s the level of trust even Trump has for his SecDef. Zero. No wonder stories about morale in the Pentagon and elsewhere in our armed forces has dropped.
Well, I just wanted you to know that Hegseth is getting roasted. And suggest you add to his humiliation if you go on Xitter and have an insult someone else hasn’t already made.

Don’t be so quick to assess the damage…he’s a blackout drunk. They can’t remember shit and have gaps in time. For all we know, he could have been on the phone with Bibi, the leader of Iran, his wife, the puppy killer, the cross eyed liar running the FBI, bubble headed barbie, loose cannon Bannon, or any number of fascist villains. He doesn’t know and neither do we. Maybe he was passed out during the entire episode. It’s anyone’s guess.
