This man is such a disgrace. We occupy the North American continent with Canada and Mexico, our allies and our good neighbors. Donald Trump has gone out of his way to insult both nations. He keeps calling Justin Trudeau “Governor Trudeau” and alludes to Canada becoming our 51st state. Now, along the same demented lines, he called Mexico “the territory south of our border.” No, dummy, it is not a “territory” it is a sovereign nation and one of our best trade partners. Be that as it may, Trump states his intention to attack within its borders.

Now we’re back to “they’re eating the cats, they’re eating the dogs.” I think that this SOTU has about played itself out. I will watch the remainder and see if anything of note happens but so far Trump has played himself out. He’s claiming great success, in an era where grocery prices are skyrocketing, planes are falling out of the sky, the Secretary of Defense has stopped defending our cyberspace against Russia, the stock market is crashing and now he’s gone out of his way today to insult Canada and Mexico — the same day he implements his insane tariffs.
The State Of The Union was a Trumpian shitshow as anticipated. Maybe the rebuttal will be interesting. Hang in there, maybe we’ll get an interesting insight or two.
