An interesting little thing made the news. Maybe there’s some hope after all. With DonOld Trump? Not so much. With someone on the other side? Oh, hell YES! This is something good to see. It’s almost unbelievable to see. Took me a few moments to believe it but damn the time was SO. WORTH. IT.
It seems Fox News has a great time dissing AOC (Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez) for the sometimes stupid (they think) things she says. I don’t have examples because I wanted to get this out to you folks. It’s probably possible to find them with a little digging. Fox News is great at hating on Democrats. Except this time.
“And smart Democrats realize that they have a real problem,” he said. And I think one of those smart Democrats is AOC.” “Wait a sec! Wait a sec!” co-host Jason Chaffetz exclaimed. “Yeah, I think that we make fun of a lot of the stupid things she says. And she does say some stupid things,” Charlie Hurt argued. “But she is a lot more in tune with where people are than you would think she was based on some of the stupid things she says.” Hurt pointed to Ocasio-Cortez’s warning that President Donald Trump was more dangerous than ever because he had become “normalized.” Campos-Duffy pointed out that Trump was not treated like a “normal human” during his first term. “And now they can’t stop it,” she said. “It’s happened.” “AOC, in my opinion, is an idiot,” Chaffetz quipped. “Say what you will about her,” Campos-Duffy replied. “She’s, for a woman, especially who has a degree in economics, she’s economically ignorant.” “But she understands the culture,” she added. “And that’s why she’s worried.”
Interesting, no? Sure, AOC has had her share of stumbles. Everyone does. But she’s not afraid. You go, AOC. Sock it to them. We know you can. Seems they’ve just discovered how smart you are, and I bet that might have them worry just a little bit off-camera. We still have Democrats who are strong!
