An attorney who has become a fervent defender of the person we love to hate has opened his yap once again. He loves going up against “lawfare”, this being any legal case that is against Trump. He is attacking Judge Merchan and his family (again) with things I don’t like to consider. Does this mean yet another family has to get bodyguards? Does this mean yet another family has to move somewhere they can protect themselves because of this nonsense? Hello, I’m talking to you Mike Davis, MAGA right wing “attorney”.
Remember the ladies who had to move because of Rudy Giuliani, because they were being threatened, due to him saying they cheated on the election? Yea. That. What the hell is going on with these insane MAGA people? They got what they wanted – tRump as President. He was given a sentence of practically nothing for this hush money lawsuit and it had actual documentation! He’s now a convicted felon for the rest of his life (aw, boohoo asshole) but NOTHING else. No community service, no in home suspension, nothing. Judge Merchan did that because of the *office* of the President, not the *person* who will be President. He could have done much, much worse, and the mean part of me wishes he had. But, January 20 is coming up fast!
Judge Merchan followed the LAW, which the Mango Mandarin completely ignores, unless it will benefit him. Judge Merchan watched over a legal case that had a jury. Judge Merchan made a choice to do something highly unusual after the Confused Carrot was found guilty in a case that was *judged by his peers*. Reminder, this was a JURIED case, not just a “judged” case. How many times must I emphasize that fact? But it’s not good enough for Mike Davis. Geesh, DUDE, think about what you’re saying? Don’t you have better things to do with your time, like actual law cases? Do you have so much money you don’t actually have to work for a living? Does the Cheez-Whiz Tater Tot even know you exist? And if he DOES know, does he care?
So in the left corner, we have Judge Juan Merchan, who believes in the law and follows the law, even in special circumstances. Judge Juan Merchan, who watched over a case involving the Orange Asshole. Judge Juan Merchan who decided on the punishment, for a juried hush money case with unique circumstances. Judge Juan Merchan, who did something most people have never HEARD of, let alone given out as punishment.
And in the right corner, we have RWNJ “Attorney” Mike Davis, with his various threats that all begin to sound the same the more cases he “watches over”. The “letter” to Judge M “Go F*** Yourself. Go Home. Go become a third world.”. The “Letter” about his daughter and her corruptly received money. A reminder, this is the person who considers himself doing “lawfare” to interfere as much as he can with tRump’s court cases. Good lord, it’s the Orangutan, who has less than no knowledge of law and order. So I guess you figured your 2 brain cells would take care of issues for him since he has NO brain cells.
I think you and I know who will win. I’m going for Judge Juan Merchan, who kept control of his hush money trial, who protected his people, who kept order in his court, who CARES about and KNOWS the law, who allowed for special circumstances in his verdict. I vote for someone who is sane, and I hope you do too.

Hey I hear they decided to clarify our present legal situation in America. They’re adding ‘UN’ in front of EQUAL…on the Supreme Court building. Finally!!!! A step in the right direction! Now if we could only get our adult population to look up from their phones.
Ouch, Scott, that stung – and might as well be true. I’m working on the phone thing. I’ve already loosened my leash and hope to get to a point where I only allow myself to look at it for certain things, like messages, and possible topics for here.
It is my hope that judges like Merchan continue to make rulings based on the established law, even if they are sure that right wing judges will overturn the decision.
Eventually, the people (at least some of them) will realize that there is a serious problem. The only way to correct that is to vote blue and replace the traitors that want to overturn the Constitution.
