Yup, the Confused Carrot is at it again. This man is disturbingly random. He claims to be playing 12-dimension chess but with the strategic acumen of a checkers player. The latest is that he wants to rename the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America. “What a beautiful name. And it’s appropriate.” Get OUTTA here! He wants to change it because it’s prettier? Wut? This goes right along with “taking back” the Panama Canal and making Canada the 51st state, and annexing Greenland. They are doing just FINE by themselves, thankyouverymuch, and have no need for the US to do something ridiculous like taking them over. These places are independent entities and they have made it clear they will STAY that way. But he goes on and on and on about this and that, and tries to make it sound good when he comes up with some random idea or course of action about something.
Then he just goes on and on and on, as if all the talk will make these places change their minds. It’s just not going to happen. And the Orangutan then makes it worse by saying he won’t take military intervention off the plate. This is a sign of mental illness but we’re so used to it from Trump that like frogs in a pot where the temperature keeps going up one degree at a time, we’re comfortable with boiling.
Again, wut? Denmark is our ally and is for the protectorate of Greenland, Canada and Mexico are our allies, and the Panama Canal belongs to Panama, and has been for literally YEARS. Yet he mumbles and grumbles and threatens. That’s not going to make them MORE likely to work with us. As a matter of fact, I would think it likely they will only do the bare minimum because having this nonsense come up again, rinse and repeat, after his first presidency, is out of hand. If it didn’t work the first time, what makes him think it will work the second?? Vanity? A malignant narcissist that believes he should be obeyed for anything he wants? Sheer stupidity? All of this and more?
We import multiple products from Canada and Mexico. Products that we need. Yet he’s back to the tariff threatening, which, again, won’t make them more likely to work with us. And he’s trying to overturn the new import/export program that he JUST re-did on his last presidency. DUDE. Could you, just once, *think* about what you’re doing? …. Okay, maybe that’s too much to ask for, because the orange cat braincell doesn’t ever seem to have come his way. And have I mentioned he has no guardrails this go-round? It’s going to be just sycophants and ass kissers that will do what he wants, especially because a lot of it is going to benefit *them*, too. Billionaires Boy’s Club, remember? I’m kinda sorry Ivanka isn’t going to be in the government with him this time because she could keep him under *some* control, at least. The sons? Oh *hell* no. Worthless. They’ll benefit from their dad’s craziness, so no control there. No control ANYWHERE. And according to various news articles, she’s staying as far away as possible. I can’t blame her. Being one of his advisors for his last presidency did not do good things for her.
Who managed to put a bug up the Orange Bonehead’s ass, that he just goes on and on and on about the Canal, Mexico, Canada, Greenland? Why does he keep trying for these countries? No matter what he says, he has been told *firmly*, and *more than once* that it’s not going to happen. It has been put right out there, on the media, of nearly any kind. I hope Elon or Bezos or the LA Times doesn’t put up money for this to happen because they will be disappointed. I can hardly wait for tRump to try and takes these place with the military, because we will also be fighting ourselves because allies and NATO. Idiot.
We’re in the last ten days of the honeymoon period. Somebody is going to have to step up to the plate. Most likely it will be John Thune since he’s got experience and is now the head of the Republican party to all intents and purposes. Moses Mikey is a placeholder and that’s known.
J.D. Vance is waiting to see if Trump croaks and then he’ll be called to come out of the wings and go from understudy to star. Somebody is going to have to address Trump’s extreme views. It’s all hypothetical, still, at this stage. But a week and a half goes by fast and then frying pan? Meet fire.

Mark, i would like to see the adults in charge – adults who focus on the very real needs of America to balance the federal budget, pay down the national debt, secure the future of social security and medicare, promote domestic STEM education in highschools and colleges, ensure that critical medical care is available to all Americans, shrink inflation while growing the economy, and building strong coalitions with allies across the globe.
It is embarassing and concerning instead to hear a soon-to-be President, proclaimed leader of the free world, focus on threats to launch miliitary attacks against our neighboring sovereign nations and allies to occupy and annex their land, and worrying about changing a four-centuries-old name for an external body of water whose coastline is shared with another country. We agree on one thing, there is not much to laugh about here!
my money is on Putin telling him to do these things, to wreck NATO and isolate the US.
