So, between the Cybertruck blowing up, and the New Orleans asshole who I would kick in the teeth if he wasn’t already dead, just gets stranger. They have a very few similarities – both were servicemen, and both vehicles were leased through what I believe is called the Turo system, where the owners of the vehicles can put them up for rent. The owners are in for BIG surprises, if they don’t already know. And how the hell do you explain that to your insurance company? “Sorry my truck was exploded in Las Vegas by some guy so how do I file for that?” “My truck was used in a mass homicide how do I file for that?”
And I can just see the person on the other end of the phone saying “Sir, are you SERIOUS??? You’re not just pulling my leg???”
“Yea, do you get the news?”
“Yea, I … ohhhhhhh. I’m not sure how to handle this …. let me get a manager.”
*Gets manager, explains, manager picks up telephone*
“Sir? I’m going to have to take this up the line as this is such a … unique … situation that we’re not quite sure what to do. May we have your contact information?”
*Gets information, thanks caller, hangs up*
*Looks at the person who originally took the call*
“I think we’d better bump this all the way up to the CEO.” *Original answerer nods fervently*
And really, how DO you file for that? Are you just SOL? But back to our story. This is making no sense regarding the gentleman in the Cybertruck. Seems there are a lot of questions and a lot of little things that don’t add up. New Orleans? ISIS-K and all that goes with it. Cybertruck? Good guy, Special Forces, Trump loving Super Soldier, long time service member, sloppy execution on the explosion and could have done MUCH worse, shoots himself after setting it off. Whaaaaaaaat the holy hell??!!
And almost the worst part is I don’t think there will ever be any real answers unless something turns up in an unexpected place. What drove him to do that? Yes, he was on leave, one year away from retirement, but he was helping Ukraine, so that doesn’t exactly make sense … except the Mango Messiah is going to cut back on or cut off aid to Ukraine. Would that be a factor? We just don’t know. And I don’t think we’ll ever know. That’s a sad ending to what seems like a really amazing person’s life. Just so, so sad. It’s worse than the New Orleans driver. THERE there were answers. HERE there are not. No real answers. I can’t even begin to try and understand. If any of you have something to add to this, please do. I’ve run out. Start at the beginning. Go to the end. Then stop.

And now, a very special message from our awesome boss:
Friends, I am forced to self-promote and ask you for money. We had a bad year compared with 2023 and the end of the year has been catastrophic. Traffic died on November 5. We are a small blog and completely self-supporting by ad revenue, donations, and subscriptions. If you can afford a monthly subscription that would help us out. If you can make a small donation, likewise. Our only goal is to stay in business and give you the best content we can generate. Thank you. Ursula

I have wondered about the super soldier in Las Vegas. Yes, he was an ardent tRump supporter. A report I heard was that his wife reported that he left her, in late December, after an argument about infidelity. What IF part of the rift with his wife was political differences and he found out the mango messiah is just a big fake? Or he is displeased with president muskrat leading tRump around like a dog on a leash? I think blowing up a Tesla vehicle in front of a tRump property is a statement of some kind.
Oh, I absolutely agree! I think disillusionment was a big part of this and it most definitely was a statement. We’ll likely never know exactly why but there is a whole lot more to this than it appears on the surface.
I suspect that the owners of the vehicles are NOT covered. I know my policy says if you carry passengers for hire (drive Uber) you are not covered. Have they caught up to the reality of backdoor renting out your car via this app? Not quite the same as someone driving your car “with your permission”.
