We are given to understand that the J6 rioters are happily caroling in their cells and awaiting freedom in January when Donald Trump once again reigns on Pennsylvania Avenue. The question today is whether Trump will pardon Edward Kelley, a convicted January 6 rioter from Tennessee who was found guilty Wednesday in a separate criminal case for his plan to murder federal law enforcement agents for investigating his role in the Capitol attack, as reported by the Department of Justice. Kelley had a “kill list” and could be facing life in prison. Or, he could walk scot free because Trump loves terrorists.
Edward Kelley, 35, of Maryville, Tennessee, developed a “kill list” of FBI agents and other federal employees who investigated his role in the Capitol attack, federal prosecutors said. Edwards distributed that list – along with video images of FBI employees named on the list – to a co-conspirator as part of his “mission,” prosecutors said. They added that he planned attacks on the Knoxville FBI Field Office with car bombs and incendiary devices attached to drones.
A jury convicted him Wednesday in federal court of conspiracy to murder federal employees, solicitation to commit a crime of violence, and influencing a federal official by threat. The verdict comes about two weeks after he was convicted of assaulting a police officer during the Capitol insurrection and other felony charges related to the attack, the Washington Post reported.
Kelley is scheduled to be sentenced on May 7 and faces up to life in prison when he’s sentenced.
Or, as stated, Trump can put him out on the streets. Trump can put all these people out on the streets. And that’s what they were expecting when they came to Washington that day in 2021, to riot and go literally wild in the streets, and their savior King Donald would pardon them or at the very least pay their legal expenses.
They did not get their legal expenses paid but they may get pardoned. Or, they may not. Who knows what Trump has in store? It will all depend on how much anger he needs to gin up in any one news cycle.
If and when Trump does pardon this Kelley character and the others that are currently serving time, it is the eradication of the rule of law in this country. And who’s to say what these people will do for an encore — believing that Trump will back their play, no matter how deranged, and they won’t have to be held accountable for their actions? I shudder to think.
And it goes without saying that children are getting a great lesson in how abuse of power works. That’s another problem with the Era of Trump. The young are learning that you can be a convicted felon, a rapist, a rioter, none of it matters if you know the right people or you can get enough power.
The era of American exceptionalism is gone. We might have been a noble people at one point in time, like the Germans were pre-Hitler. But Trump is a stain that will remain upon the fabric of this nation for centuries to come.

the tyrant considers them “patriots”. Of course he will open the cells, free them, pardon them, and i believe i read he wants to compensate them. No one will stop him. No one wants to and no one can.
