Okay, here we go again with yet another foray into the You Can’t Make This $hit up file. I have to say that this blows my mind and I didn’t think that was possible. But Trump and MAGA have plenty of room to fall even further downward and destroy this country from within — as Khrushchev predicted would happen. Olivia Troye was on TV today and she identified as being from Iowa and shared that Donald Trump was recruiting carnies at the Iowa State Fair for policy expert positions in a new government. I don’t doubt her word one bit. Troye has been most illuminating in describing what happened in the Trump White House the first time, when she was working for Mike Pence.
This is who we could see in government. This is kakistocracy, people, which is government by the least qualified. It is also kleptocracy, which is using government to steal. I don’t even want to think about what extent that will go to. It is the movie Idiocracy come to life. People who have as much ability to be in politics and government as you and I have to go stand on the face of the moon without a spacesuit, are going to be in politics and government.
Evidently the electorate thought that they were voting for something positive. They were going to see pre-pandemic grocery prices and gasoline, is my best bet. The majority of people were not able to realize that the pandemic was global and that inflation was global, as a result. And that’s why grocery prices rose. Also, with respect to gasoline, same reason, coupled with the fact that we weren’t going anywhere during the pandemic. Supply and demand, it doesn’t get any simpler than that.
So Trump got in, fueled by right-wing media lies, and now MAGA believes it will all be wonderful. No. A house built upon a faulty foundation cannot stand. And the house that Trump looks to build is the most ticky tacky of all.
And here’s the real tragedy: we’re all in one large homeowners association, called the global community. And if the global community says, “Your house is a piece of shit. Get it in compliance with the rest of the neighborhood or get out,” then we’re going to be in trouble. And America may become the pariah of the world. That is within the realm of possibility. In fact, I’m ready to say that that’s the likelihood.
Trump is hated worldwide. That is something worth looking at. Dubya may have caused eyebrows to raise globally but there is no relationship between how Dubya was regarded and how Trump is reviled and loathed — and justifably so. They’re apples and oranges, no pun intended.
America has made one hell of a mess for herself. We’re going to have to shoulder through this somehow. As I have said before, left-wing media needs to do what right-wing has done and tell the TRUTH because mainstream media, whose job that is, has long given up. So it’s got to be up to us. We need to get the truth out there.
My personal and private hope is that some network or some media mogul or somebody is going to see the need here and put together some broadcast outlet solely targeted at exposing the lies of the Trump administration each and every day.
We will do that here, of course. So will Lincoln Project. So will Meidas Touch, other blogs and outlets. But we need something bigger. I hope that somehow that need can be filled.
For the time being, I’m willing to give up my “Soros Bucks,” that George sends all of us Democratic-Communists every month, if he will use that money to fund a true opposition media that will “flood the zone” with truth and reality! 🇺🇸✊️

The uninformed (and happy to be that way) orange worshipers have been conned and led by the nose by wealthy men who are NOT from this country: Rupert Murdoch, Elon Musk and Vladimir Putin. Murdoch and Musk will get richer (as if they need it) and Putin will get richer and a few more countries. These guys have basically pissed on us.
