Vladimir Putin is busting a gut right now. He has dropped his vodka shooter on the floor and is ready to roll around down there with it. That’s because his useful idiot has come up with an idea so ludicrous that even Putin can’t believe it and that is putting ex-football player Herschel Walker in charge of American air defense. Yes, you read that correctly. That means that whenever Vlad’s missiles enter our airspace, none other than Herschel will be there to greet them. Believe me when I say that a lot of Republicans are wondering if Donald Trump is trying to throw the game. Because either he’s trying or he is so much more worthless than even the most cynical of them would ever have believed possible. And both could be true as well. They are not mutually exclusive ideas.

It is precisely this kind of idiocy that makes people believe that he could be throwing the election.
Let’s look at the reality of the situation. We all remember Trump winning in 2016. God knows we will never forget that night. And we all remember that he had no acceptance speech written because he didn’t believe he was going to win. He was doing the presidential run as a lark and because he and Steve Bannon had conceived of Trump TV, which was going to be an anti-Hillary organ and give Fox News a run for the money.
And that idea might have gone well. Who knows? All we can do is speculate. But Trump did in fact win and then he fumbled and bumbled his way through the next four years.
Now the man is much older. He had the experience of losing re-election and he found himself in a position where he pretty much had to run again in order to stay out of prison. So this is very much a Faustian bargain for him. And for us. The pages of history contain stories of people who attained power and who never should have because they were too childish to handle it. You can find that starting back as far as the Roman emperors.
Trump does not want to be president. He never did. When Barack Obama briefed him he told Obama, “I didn’t know it was so much work.” That’s probably one of the few honest statements that have ever come out of the man’s mouth. Trump thought being president was ceremonial — to the extent that he thought about it at all. What attracted him was the power, the publicity, the limelight.
So he got what he wished for. He mishandled and abused the office and he wants it back and this time America is going to say uh uh — like they did the last time. Only this time the margin of uh uh will be much greater.
One more day, folks. One more day of campaigning and then Tuesday is the Big Day. And do not be surprised by a red mirage, particularly in Pennsylvania. The law in Pennsylvania is that they count the live vote (the ballot box vote) and then they count the early and mail-in votes.
So do not be surprised if Trump comes out as early as eight thirty or so and declares victory. Or, maybe the board will already be so aflame for Harris that he won’t be able to make that kind of a statement without looking totally ridiculous.
But one thing I can absolutely warrant is true: Trump is freaking out right now. He is barely holding on. Because this is a trial by fire for him. He’s got more riding on this presidential race than any other candidate in American history.
Yes, nobody wants to lose a presidential race. It is a humiliation. And it is a loss that only a man or woman with mettle and character can accept with dignity and wish the winner of the race well. Trump has no mettle or character to begin with. Plus, losing the election makes the clanging of iron prison doors come out to him, not just from their place in his dreams, but manifesting into his waking reality, as the next step in his life.
Trump does not want to sit through any more criminal trials. He does not want to show up for sentencing in the hush money trial this month. But he has no choice. And his one chance to avoid prison may be taken from him as soon as Tuesday night. Or, possibly by the weekend, if the race can’t be called on Tuesday.
But I think it will be. We could be in for another upset election but it won’t be along the lines of 2016. It will be an upset that will bury Trump politically once and for good. We could be having a very different conversation this time on Tuesday night. And Trump knows it better than anybody.
And that, in my opinion, is why he’s acting so strangely. He is sleepwalking through the remainder of the rallies, pumped up on who knows what and barely perambulating on and off of his plane.
The party will be over very soon.

Maybe he wants a wall of POC to stop any stray misses that may be fired upon our country. Then he doesn’t have to enslave them, send them to his camps, or throw them out of the country? The racist could be up to anything! Walker could recruit all his friends to join him.

The real irony of this notion is that there are countries where the President is primarily a ceremonial job (Germany, Italy and Israel come to mind) but there’s no real “power, publicity or limelight” for those Presidents–those countries generally invest the real “power, publicity and limelight” for the Prime Minister (or Chancellor, in Germany’s case).
Dafuq?? does he think Walker is going to intercept missiles like a passed football?!?
We’d be better of hitching Walker to a missile and firing it off to the Kremlin or Putin7’s bedroom. He wants to put a retired NFLer even Black.men in Atlanta where football is a religion wouldn’t vote for him. He has had way too.many concussions and can barely manage a complete sentence.
