Poor Flop Gov. What’s a strutting popinjay pocket Caesar supposed to do? For five long years DeSantis had it by the short-and-curlies. a great job, permanently open mic, and a compliant lap poodle legidlature to grant his every wish. Life was good.
Not anymore. Blowback from his stupid, ill conceived click bait laws finally started putting public blowback on the legislature, who are now out to save their own jobs. And then, on a national stage, Pissantis exposed himself as the dumbest politician since the The rent is too damn high dude who ran for New York Mayor.
There is a ballot initiative in Florida this November that would enshrine abortion up to the point of viability. This has enraged Pissantis, who proudly campaigned on his abusive six week abortion ban once he signed it in the dark of night with no live coverage. No, man. The dude will not abide!
Last week the General Counsel for the Florida Department of Health sent a cease-and-desist order to local television stations airing a paid ad extolling the virtues of the pro abortion initiative. The general Counsel called the ad A misleading lie, and threatened criminal charges if the ad wasn’t pulled from the airwaves.
The mandatory federal Freedom of Speech violation lawsuits followed within days. Today a federal court told the Florida health Department to take their cease-and-desist-order and shove it up their asses, calling it a clear cut case of suppression of free speech.
Fortunately, the General Counsel was spared any undue embarrassment. Basically because he had already resigned, stating that his integrity was more important than the job. And then went on to state that DeSantis’s office had drafted the order, and forced the General Counsel to send it under threat of termination. Post event, the General Counsel chose honor and self termination.
I can’t think of a worse word that comes after imbecile, so I’m just calling it DeSantis. Right now this ballot initiative is in a dead heat for passage. So what does this strutting pissant do? In the last month of the election, with early voting underway, he self generates a voter suppression scandal to show the entire state he’s willing to cheat to win. Man, talk about generating turnout. Stupid is as stupid does.

I googled it. Too long to explain here, but definitely worth reading. He’s such a slime! I do hope when he gets to his term limits some SANE PERSON, preferably a Democrat, will run, win, and get Florida sane again. It’s been far too long since sanity prevailed in Florida.
someone, possibly the state, has been running ads which strongly suggest but don’t actually outright state, that there’s no need for the anti abortion measure because any woman who medically needs one can get it and a doctor who refuses needed treatment can be prosecuted for not providing it. this is crap as pointed out in pro issue 4 ads with doctors pointing out that they have to wait and be absolutely certain that the patient is on the verge of death before performing an abortion or they could go to prison.
there have also been ads, which I’m certain we’re made by the same people, opposing issue 3 which is (sort of) Marijuana legalization. the ballot measure would actually just send the matter to the legislature to put together a law to legalize pot at some point, when they get around to it, in 3 to 5 years, maybe. I think it took 4 years for them to pass a law for medical Marijuana after that passed overwhelmingly.
I have never seen anyone who enjoyed stepping on his dick more than desantis.
