Another day another conspiracy theory. A breaking story from the Washington Post and other outlets gives sketchy details about two parties firing shots at one another but not at Donald Trump, who was nearby. “Two people exchanged gunfire outside of Trump International Golf Course West Palm Beach. The shooters were targeting each other, and the gunfire was not targeting Trump, the sources said.” That didn’t stop Marjorie Taylor Greene from jumping in with her two cents.

This is so irresponsible, but this is MAGA. And I don’t think it’s too far fetched to say that Trump wouldn’t actually mind another attempt, since he keeps pushing the video from the Butler, Pennsylvania incident over and over again on social media.

I remember you wore an AR-15 pin proudly to congress, hassled David Hogg walking down the street, support a child killing nazi, didn’t give a rat’s ass about the officers killed during the Jan6th ‘tour’, have posted numerous pictures acting tough with a gun in hand, and oppose gun control. I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if one day we learn Team Trump found a way to egg on a couple of dumbasses from rival gangs or drug-dealers (Don Jr. surely knows some guys) to get in a spate – and wind up pulling out their guns. Trump is the lucky (because the young man was such a lousy shot) survivor of an assassination attempt but what’s become apparent is that his Secret Service detail was lax in their protection or he’d never have been in danger in the first place. Add in his wearing of an EAR DIAPER to dramatize his little nick on his ear and normal people have long ago adopted a ‘thank heavens he got off lucky but it never should have happpened in the first place but let’s move on’ attitude.
Him trying to manufacture being under a greater threat than anyone else isn’t beyond the realm of possibility. One could credibly argue as I’ve suggested his team has been at work trying to do just that. From where I sit this is a bigly nothingburger.
