Maybe we should start laying odds whether Donald Trump will make it until November 5 without collapsing. He looks tired, strained, and detached. It goes without saying that there are arguments over the size of the crowd that attended Trump’s rally tonight in Las Vegas. The venue allegedly holds 13,500, but the Trump campaign said to expect about 6,000 people, so the venue was “curtained” and divided in two. Of that space, supposedly 2,500 people or so showed up. Now this will be hotly debated as these things always are in Trump world because crowd size is everything to this guy. Crowd size is the new penis envy, we guess.

In any event, however many people were there, 2,500, 25,000, let’s just see what took place.

You see how utterly dull this is. At least he didn’t do the transgender athlete schtick tonight. Maybe somebody told him last night in Arizona that it was boring. But one bright sign. Trump did realize he was in Nevada. Yesterday, in Arizona, he famously said, “You’ve got to go out and vote, Pennsylvania.” But that was a joke, we know. Every time Trump or Vance flub, it’s high comedy, Shavian wit. The journalists just don’t get it, because they’re not hip enough. Now this next one I really like: the border patrol is going to head up to Colorado to liberate a suburb of Denver.

I don’t know if this sing song-ey weirdness is self parody or what.

A psychologist on Twitter, Nick Carmody, says: “Trump is overcompensating for Harris saying at the debate that he’s boring, and that people leave his rallies early.” Sounds plausible. Trump looks wild eyed and desperate right now. I don’t know how he’s going to get through another six and a half weeks of this. He looks like he’s ready to keel over.

No matter how much makeup they slather on, tonight (at least the way this stage was lit) he looked flushed, sweating, and strained. There is no charm here, rather there is desperation. He doesn’t look to be enjoying himself at all.

That’s death to a political candidate. A successful candidate needs to be alive on stage and engage the audience and sweep them along with his passion. Trump’s not doing that because he’s got no passion. He’s going through the motions.

I can tell you what the Harris/Walz campaign is doing in Nevada. They are flooding the airwaves with ads. I happened to be in the car this morning and I heard anti-Project 2025 ads and anti-Trump ads in general all over the place.

Nevada has six electoral votes. Harris and Trump are in a statistical tie. For now. Let’s see what Monday and a whole new slew of polls bring.

    Their very livelihoods rely on this being presented as a skin of your teeth, neck to neck horse race to the end.

    • You nailed it, Li’l Blue: the mainstream media need this to be a real contest, close and tense and exciting, to justify their own existence. And for that, they need Trump to be a worthy competitor, not some slobbering, deranged old fart disgracing himself and his party in public every time he ventures out from home. So once the reality of the Kamala shitkicking has faded from view, they’ll go right back to sanewashing and gaslighting on behalf of a pitiful shell of a failed human being.

    • The man looks like shit. I would say that if I didn’t know who he was. If I walked into my doctor’s office that flushed and beet red (even under layers of makeup) and sweating, he’d slap me into a hospital for observation. Trump looks stressed out and not well.

      • how hot was it? elderly and obese people have a harder time regulating their body temperature, and if he is outside too much in these sunbelt states that are still having heat waves, he could get heat illness.

  5. He may or may not be deeply mentally ill, I am not a psychiatrist, but he looks physically unwell. His face looks very bloated. His orange make-up is not hiding the fact he is very red bordering on purple which might mean a problem with his blood pressure. He needs to take a break if he wants to live until the election. He probably won’t-even if he doesn’t do his klan rallies he’ll still hit the links which isn’t rest per se and if for some reason he didn’t golf for a bit he’d still watch the idiot box and that alone would raise his B.P. dangerously.

    If any of his children want to visit with him over the holidays they’d better do something and quickly.

    • I’m with you. He doesn’t look well. And especially next to youthful, vibrant Kamala, he looks like he’s about to become unglued. And he has good cause to look that way. The election has gone a completely different direction than he (or anybody) anticipated. Plus his legal and financial issues are challenging.

    Hmm. Let’s see. In 1724 (that’s 300 years ago), “our country” didn’t exist. It wasn’t even 13 colonies (the colony of Georgia wouldn’t be established until 1732). And Aurora, Colorado, didn’t exist either. Much of “our country” was under the control (or, at least the claims) of Spain, France and even Russia. Britain controlled the Atlantic seaboard from modern Maine down to South Carolina and, only as far inland as the Appalachian Mountains. And anything that wasn’t directly controlled by a European power (in other words, pretty much anything outside direct military oversight) was under the control of Native tribes.

    So, exactly “who” is going to do the liberating and what part and from whom? What exactly will your role be, General Bone-Spurs? Directing operations? Leading the troops? Making photo ops out of the dead soldiers who gave their lives for your nonsense?

May be it’s finally time to secure Trump in a holding area for physical/mental problems and an exam of his well-being … His denial of problems could escalate to a screaming level in a short time, a calm and cool interview is beyond him now, our only hope to squash the lies and brutal treatment of others may be a complete exam in a clinic/hospital with specialists in mental disorders …

    He could always be committed by family OR a judge, but hey, then he would be disqualified as a defendant AND a possible re-treaded failed excuse as a president …

    Personally, I want ALL the court’s that are waiting to snare him into prison to throw their respective books at him so he WILL BE forced into prison time … It seems, but I may be wrong about this, that he has no huge funds of money now, and ALL those court actions WILL only be retired if he CAN pay hundreds of millions in fines and net pay-offs to harmed individuals and the states and the Federal government, in other words, he has nothing left to save him so those sweat beads and bland look potty face is his current state of panic …

He wants them to shed blood rounding up their darker-skinned neighbors for deportation! Trump wants them to be ready for the bloodshed when the Dems steal the election! And, he wants their kids who are already serving to get out on the street, unconstitutionally, to fight other kids who might have the audacity to protest!!
