The most amazing thing about the world of Trump and the era of Trump is that somehow, as Americans, we seem to have lost our sense of outrage. I never would have believed this possible. If this is new information to you, the GOP candidate intends to hold a “gala” honoring the J6 rioters’ “courage” and “sacrifice.” If that don’t beat all.
On September 5, Trump will be joined by former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani and MAGA influencer Anthony Raimondi at the event, where he is expected to personally address participants in the January 6, 2021 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.
“We gather to pay tribute not only to these individuals but to all J6 defendants who have shown incredible courage and sacrifice,” the event’s description read.
A poster for the gala teases a “#1 music chart plaque” for the so-called “J6 prison choir’s” song “Justice for All,” which is a rendition of the national anthem. MeidasTouch referred to the giveaway as “a chance to win a plaque commemorating the fact that MAGA folks bought a bunch of copies of his J6 ‘song’ called ‘Justice for All’ earning him a fleeting spot on the Billboard music chart.”
However, if Trump follows through with the gala, it may complicate his own legal situation. According to attorney Tristan Snell – who prosecuted the former president over his sham Trump University while at the New York Attorney General’s office — New York state law would prohibit such an event given the expected guest list.
“Someone should alert Trump’s probation officer — because convicted felons are legally prohibited from associating with other felons,” he tweeted.

One thing I will tell you about that day: I was horrified, yes, but I was not the least bit surprised. Michael Cohen had predicted that Trump would never voluntarily relinquish power. Plus, Trump foreshadowed the riot well before it actually happened. He lied about having won on Election Night 2020, and he kept up with the stolen election drivel. What happened at the Ellipse and afterwards was foreseeable.
I think more security would have been in place but for the fact that nobody could believe an American president would actually do such a thing. We found out the hard way.
This ad shows who Trump is. This is the one ad that every American needs to see before they cast a ballot this fall.

oh my God that Ad made me want to cry. I watched the riot here in the UK as it was unfolding, and it was horrific then. Even now it’s just as horrendous and horrific.
