Earlier tonight Michelle Obama made it clear to Democrats that we need to work hard to bring this race home. “Do Something” she said and I believe that you’ll be seeing that on bumper stickers and merchandise soon. Now here’s the total irony of this situation: if ever a party and its candidate needed to “do something” to pull out of the steep nosedive that things have entered into, it is the GOP and its golden orange boy, Donald Trump. Trump simply cannot handle the polls these days.
“Harris led Trump 48% to 44% in a Morning Consult poll of registered voters released Tuesday, up from a two-point edge by the same pollster last week, as Morning Consult shows independents picking Harris over Trump 42% to 38% as the vice president’s approval rating ticks up to 50% (the poll’s margin of error was 1 point, and voters were surveyed from Aug. 16 to 18),” according to Forbes.
Donald can’t handle that. So he’s found his own polls, by gosh and by golly, and this is what’s going on in the world where he lives. You see, Trump world is like Wonderland, the numbers mean what you want them to mean.

Point of clarity: I don’t think the assassination attempt was staged. Now it could have been. Anything’s possible but my issue with that event is the level of injury Trump sustained. I keep hoping and praying somebody will leak the ER report so we can conclude for certain that the “violent bullet that struck my husband, Donald” to quote his devoted wife, was in fact a few pieces of plastic or glass that slightly bloodied his ear. And actually, at this point, with #FakeAssassination trending from time to time, it might be in Trump’s best interest to clarify what actually went on, because what is happening now (at least on Twitter) is that people are openly declaring they don’t believe anything he says.
He would honestly be doing himself a favor to show his medical report. But again, that would take away the drama of “taking a bullet for democracy.” Two or three polls will be coming out every few days now. We are in the countdown. Trump needs to turn himself and his campaign around ASAP.
Trump claims he leads by 66 points, eh! Just shows how much of a ‘power tool’ he really is: doubly insulated (from reality) and rarely hits earth. The only fuse he blows is his low amper, on ‘Struth Social’

The funniest thing I see about those two “polls” is that each “poll” had far more views than “votes.”
And, I really have to wonder if Trump is aware that these “polls” are being conducted on the INTERNET–you know, that thing that Trump claims was responsible for his losing in 2020 because of all those (real) votes that were “hacked” (even though there wasn’t a single voting machine in the country that was actually connected to the internet). Trump doesn’t trust a REAL election that might involve computer access but he’s ready to repost “polls” that are absolutely susceptible to VOTER FRAUD. (I doubt these online polls do anything to prevent people from casting multiple votes–and, even if they do, VPNs make it very easy to mask where a “vote” is coming from. Hell, you could use your computer to access and vote in the poll one time, then go to your phone and access and vote a second time; you could use a different username to vote a third time. And then, go turn on your VPN and do it all again. And then, just go borrow someone else’s computer/phone. And, you know, a lot of cell phone providers offer customers “multiple lines” for a very reasonable price so one person with a tablet, a laptop, a desktop, multiple phones and VPNs for all of them–and multiple usernames–could easily cast a dozen “votes” several times while the “polls” are “open.”)
Until I actually read the article, I was thinking that a hilarious poll would’ve been for 100 die-hard MAGAts being polled and, for Trump to have that 66-point lead, 17 of those MAGAts would’ve voted for Harris.
Could you imagine how Trump would react to THAT poll?
Hmm. Maybe someone should post a graph showing something just like that: “100 die-hard MAGA voters were polled who they’d vote for if the election were held today. 83 said they’d vote for Donald Trump and 17 said they’d vote for Kamala Harris.”
Then again, an even better poll would be something like, 10,000 self-described MAGA were polled. “Donald Trump” got 67 votes, “Kamala Harris” got 1 vote, “I don’t understand the question” got 2,246 votes, “Where’s my ballot if I have to vote?” got 7,686 votes.
