Time to play connect the dots. The GOP finds itself skewered on the horns of quite a dilemma. On the one horn, they have a candidate to elect in 80 days. So in the furtherance of that end, of course they need to re-post any and everything he says at a rally. That’s pretty much standard operating procedure. On the other hand, their candidate is a lunatic and you never know what’s going to come out of his mouth next. Today was a case in point, when the 78-year-old obese candidate with four hair plugs, a bad combover, and trowled on burnt sienna makeup said he was better looking than the 59-year-old Kamala Harris. That was one weird moment but not the only one. Trump seemed to get the state he was speaking in confused. More than once.

Okay, let’s take this at face value. He’s talking to the MAGA deadheads who follow him from rally to rally. Would the Trump War Room be ready to concede that maybe it might be a tad confusing to *some* people in Pennsylvania? Or watching the speech on TV or the internet? Speaking of the internet, they told Trump War Room to stuff it.
That’s the hysterical part. Trump loves to say about Joe Biden, “he doesn’t know where he is.” Et tu, Donald? Do you know where you are? I am 90% sure that a political ad maker will take a clip of Trump trashing Joe, “He doesn’t know where he is,” and juxtipose it with this multi-layered error about being in Pennsylvania and thinking North Carolina.
Again, taking the Trump War Room at face value, their argument doesn’t hold water. The simple common sense point to be made is WHY talk to people from North Carolina if you’re in Pennsylvania? It will only confuse. But I do like seeing the pro-Trump accounts jump and bounce like scared rabbits as they furiously do damage control. That’s entertainment. But here’s the bottom line of who and what Trump is.
Four years ago, while campaigning in 2020, Donald Trump promised to run for a third term:

Then he was justifying a third term because “they spied” on my campaign. Then he said that the election was *stollen.* So I guess we owe Trump four terms, eh what? I’ve said before and will say again, Trump has no intention of ever leaving the White House, except feet first, if he’s elected. Here’s a final clip on this subject. Trump keeps repeating the same nonsense over and over and now he’s claiming that other politicians are stealing his material in a “Sir” story, so you know it’s a lie.
Words fail me. Words are all we have, unfortunately, but this guy is so far gone that I don’t have a descriptor for this.

Ursula it’s not that weird given their history of corruption, cover-ups, hypocrisy, racism, xenophobia, misogyny, voter suppression, gerrymandering, faux shallow religious postering, and unbridled greed for power and money. He, in some ways, seemed inevitable. He is their messiah.
I can’t argue that. I guess what the real truth is, is that the lunatic fringes became the ruling class in the GOP. The racists have always been there but the *official* GOP line has always been, “There’s no room for that in this party,” or whatever Dubya said on the subject. God, what an idiot he was — but he was Thomas Jefferson compared to Trump.

My prediction, as well you know, is that there’s going to be a New Conservative Party, something rising from the ashes. So maybe we’ll have three parties in this country for a while, until MAGA goes under. Who knows?

Normal people who love their relatives, even friends, would get such a person out of the public eye and put the person in an environment where they would not come to harm or shame themselves.
