Trump rally goers in Atlanta this afternoon must not have appreciated JD Vance’s lies about Kamala Harris wanting to take away Americans’ gas stoves and red meat, either that or some Trump handler is trying to get ahead of the news feed by handing out these signs with Trump’s lame Apprentice catchphrase on them in order to ease Vance’s transition to the unemployment line. Republicans have been charging that democrats want to get rid of the accouterments of meat eating (grills, gas stoves, fire pits etc.) for years along with their warnings that we’ll soon not be celebrating Christmas while not owning an internal combustion engine.

Of course none of this BS has ever come to pass…

    A whole campaign based on riling up hate and fear and anxiety. It’s just exhausting keeping up that level of anger, isn’t it?

    Wouldn’t it be a better idea going with policies instead of ‘issues’? Policies, that are actually popular, that people want, that don’t have to be sneaked in.

    Policies that treat politics as the art of achieving things and making things, instead of just being performance art to spike negative emotions?

    It would be, and is, the better idea, which is why Democrats are doing it, and more and more people are supporting them.

    Hope, love, and the satisfaction of positive achievement beat fear and anger every time.

    • Sure it’d be a better idea, for some political parties. Magats however responded very well to hate , fear and anxiety in 2016 and quite frankly they responded ever better in 2020-dems just used better ideas and more people responded to those in 2020.

      Besides, I think we all know von shitzinpants only knows hate, fear and anxiety probably because that is all that will fit in that tiny mind of his.

    • Republican policies are uniformly losers. National abortion AND contraception ban? End Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid? Let corporations gouge every penny out of us? Poison the environment and sell off public lands? Rip 10 million essential workers out of the economy and deport them wherever? Slap tariffs on everything we buy and give all the tax cuts to the rich?
