I love this guy. You couldn’t find a better husband for an up and coming female politician if you went to every casting director in Hollywood. Ask DonOld Trump, he knows the importance of looking the part and being believable in the part. Doug Emhoff is absolutely perfect as the mate to Kamala Harris. He’s smart, charming, funny, sincere, he’s quite the package. And he’s there at his wife’s side. Unlike Melania, who showed up in the last ten minutes or so of the Republican National Convention and hasn’t been seen since — even though DonOld entertained Benjamin Netanyahu and his spouse at Mar-a-Lago just this weekend. Here is what Mr. Emhoff has to say to Candidate Trump.

Isn’t that grand? It solves DonOld’s problem. At least that problem of DonOld’s. There are so many others that nobody can solve. This is so perfect on so many levels, what Doug Emhoff has to say here:
- The tone is perfect. It’s one that you would use with an idiot child. Which DonOld is;
- DonOld has never seen a dynamic like this before, where a husband and wife are truly a match, both in love, and the guy is supporting the woman’s ambition. This is pure science fiction to DonOld. Doug and Kamala might as well be stepping off a spaceship for all that DonOld can relate;
- It rubs salt into the open wound that Harris has a loving spouse campaigning his socks off for her and DonOld had to pay Melania God knows what to show up at the RNC and pretend to like him;
- Trump is using words like “bum” and ” fucking bitch” (in leaked video from his golf cart, you remember that? If not, it’s right below) and “clueless” and “evil” and Kamala’s not doing any of that to him. She’s just pointing out that she’s had a lot of experience dealing with criminals so she knows the type;
- Kamala and Doug are a class act. DonOld and Melania are a freaking joke, the sugar daddy and his paid escort. They’re as believable as a love match as
One of these couples will class up the White House and move us ahead in the 21st Century. The other couple will drag us off into the cartoon world from which they both sprang, a product of money, plastic surgery, and utter pretense. Here’s the golf cart interview, if you missed it.

That’s the role model that DonOld is giving to his 18-year-old son, that his adversary is a “fucking bitch.” And I’m sure the kid hears much worse when they’re all behind closed doors. I would bet my bottom dollar on that.
I would also bet that this golf cart interview, which was done by Benny Johnson, I believe, one of Trump’s right-wing cronies, is going to backfire on him. I think America has had enough of the insult comic and the vulgarian. I think that the majority of us want a return to decency and normalcy and right now an interesting and accomplished woman, who has had one husband is the contrast we would like to see after the spectacle of red Creesmuss trees and the rest of the “fucking Creesmuss decorations” and the rest of the Trump klan.
And yes, after November 5, it will be simple for DonOld. Kamala will be headed to Pennsylvania Avenue and DonOld will be headed to three more criminal trials and prison. As someone once said, “Sad.”

2024 is class versus trash. So was 2020 and class won but somehow the trash managed to soil it all and drag the country through the shit regardless. This time the class (that’s us, folks) has to bury the trash beneath a landslide so deep that even the odors won’t leak back out.

If more women had exemplary husbands like Doug, the divorce rate in this country would trend downward dramatically. I’m sure the magats will have some childish insults for this man’s very manly behavior: I say “manly” because a man who is not only unafraid of his wife’s accomplishments but also publicly supports the decisions she makes in her life, career, etc., is manly by all possible meanings of the word. Those who are so afraid of women, their accomplishments, etc. they would cage them are by definition cowards and extraordinarily unmanly….as well as being a disgrace to humanity.
