Talk about saying the quiet part out loud, Donald Trump just screamed it at top volume. I feel very safe in saying that the clip you’re about to see is going to be made into an anti-Trump campaign ad by the Democrats. This is Trump slipping up bigly. I don’t purport to know what his campaign managers are doing but they have to be either tearing out their hair right now or figuring out how much money they have in the bank and how long they can survive when this shitshow finally closes out of town. Trump actually went there tonight and said what the yous and mes have been saying for years now: if he gets back in office in 2025, democracy is over and there won’t be any more elections.

Do you believe what just came out of Trump’s mouth? For once, it’s the truth. On that level, it’s refreshing. But play that clip again, “We’ll have it fixed so good, you won’t have to vote.” No, you won’t have to deal with this shilly shally nonsense of voting for a new president every four years. That’s old hat. You’ll just have a dictator in place.
And this is not new information. Trump has already made noises long before this that when he gets back in power he is “owed” a third term because the 2020 election was stolen from him. He will try to do that. And the Supreme Court that is currently on the bench probably will find a way to torture the Constitution into coughing up a rationale for that kind of an action.
We stand at the turning point in 2024. Of that there is no question. America will either continue as a constitutional republic, a nation of representative democracy, or Donald Trump will turn the place into a kakistocracy, a theocracy (based on the warped teachings of Jesus, no less) and a real life version of Idiocracy.
He came right out and said it tonight. When somebody tells you who they are, believe them.

It’s called Schedule F and it’s part of Project 2025. It would give trump the power to re-classify virtually all jobs of the federal public service as appointed positions. That would mean his cronies could staff critical positions in the electoral process and guarantee wins in all future contests.
Won’t the Supremes have to.overturn a constitutional amendment in a manner required by the constitution? And there is prescribed manner to.do so? So two major overturning of constitution?
I would think that would be a bridge too far even for this insane court, but sadly I am.probably wrong in that belief.
