In 1973, the iconic Battle of the Sexes took place on national television pitting Billie Jean King against Bobby Riggs. King was the reigning women’s champion, and Riggs a former men’s champion and natural showman some 30 years older than King
What most people don’t remember is that this wasn’t the first Battle. Several years earlier Riggs had talked then women’s champ Margaret Court into a $1 million televised match. Court should have mopped the floor with riggs, but the old man had a secret weapon. He slyly used the media to put the entire weight of the growing Women’s Lib movement on Court’s back, once stating that after he beat Court, all the women could go back into the kitchen again. Riggs won easily.
Well, guess what? This political Bobby Riggs is now nine years older than when he beat Margaret Court. He’s older. slower, his eyes aren’t what they used to be, and his reflexes are for sh*t. And Billie Jean Harris is once again ready to kick his ass all over the court.
Only four little days, and already Traitor tot is losing his sh*t, and so are his sycophants and his campaign. Trump is up against a woman 19 years younger than him, she’s running laps around him, and his Geritol isn’t kicking in.
Clearly Biden caught El Pendejo ex Presidente flatfooted with his announcement, and Trump can’t seem to get his sea legs under him. You can tell he’s lost the break on his fastball in the last nine years. One of Trump’s greatest gifts, especially with his base was his ability to spontaneously come up with derisive nicknames for his opponents. Lil Marco, Lyin’ Ted, Low Energy Jeb, and Sleepy Joe come immediately to mind. And when he crowned them, the nicknames stuck.
It’s been four days now, and His Lowness doesn’t know whether to sh*t,-go blind,- or-wind-his-watch. On Bullsh*t Social Trump’s best was to call her Dumb as a rock, a stupid person, a crazy woman, and insane. He had only the same lame ass insults in his FUX and Friends interview this morning, calling her insane and incompetent, and saying They want me to be nice, and I’d like to be nice, but unfortunately I’m dealing with garbage here.
Worst of all, Trump has been reduced to repeating himself. In his North Carolina rally babble last night, Trump repeatedly and insultingly kept mispronouncing her first name. But then he went on to dub her as Lyin’ Kamala. He said it three straight times to try to pound it home. Gee, maybe Ted Cruz should sue Trump for copyright infringement.
And now Kamala Harris is living rent free in The Cheeto Prophet’s head. And she’s already filling it with old furniture for him to carry around. Trump is absolutely furious with Harris’s prominent attack line of The prosecutor vs the felon. He screamed red faced over it last night at his rally, and today in his FUX and Friends, he was incoherent with rage. Harris already has the shiv in, and now she can twist it whenever she wants.
And then Harris went for the Daily Double. After Il Douche’s incoherent rant on FUX this morning, The campaign almost immediately came out with a statement on campaign letterhead that read something like, After watching Donald Trump on FOX and Friends this morning, I only have one question. Is Donald Trump all right? He slurred his words, garbled his sentences, and left some sentences incomplete. If anybody wants to join an inspirational, forward looking vision for America, rather than looking backward at the past, we have a home for you. The campaign was very astute in hammering Trump with the age issue right off of the bat.
And here’s the part that keeps on giving. As former Robert Mueller deputy Andrew Weissmann noted today on MSNBC, There’s no reason for Harris to obsess on Trump’s criminal aspect, just keep it on the radar. because if the legal filings I’m seeing are any indication, Trump is highly likely to be sentenced by Judge Merchan on September 18th for his 34 felony convictions, and that the sentence will likely include some form of involuntarily incarceration. That will give her a whole new arsenal to fire from, and only seven weeks before election day.
Nothing is going right for Trump. In a poll taken a week ago, after the assassination attempt, and on the day Trump accepted the GOP nomination, a poll showed him leading Biden 49-43, The same poll released today shows Trump leading Harris 49-48. A poll taken a month ago showing Harris’s favorable/unfavorable rating had her underwater by a whopping 19 points. The same poll released today with her as the presidential nominee showed her elevated all the way to -3. As I wrote yesterday, there’s a world of difference in our opinion of a Vice President, and our opinion of a presidential nominee, and it’s already showing up.
Best of all, she keeps turning the heat up on Emperor Numbus Nuttus I. Trump has said that he’ll debate Harris, but wants FUX News to handle the debate, as ABC News can’t be fair. While Harris didn’t throw cold water on a FUX debate, she reiterated that she had already agreed to the September 10th ABC debate that Trump was now backing away from, and that she was all ready to keep that date and rumble. Will Traitor Tot back down from a woman?
This is going to get interesting, most riki-tik. House Squeaker MAGA Mike Johnson came out today calling on his members to cut it out with the racist, sexist DEI sh*t and stick to the issues. Fat chance. And campaign and donor GOP insiders are already regretting their luxury choice of Goober Vance to rile up the base, at the expense of the moderate white suburban women voters and the men who love them. Three weeks ago it was the Democrats who were lined up in a circular firing squad over Biden’s electability. And today it’s the GOP that are grabbing their AR-15’s. I like this look better.
I thank you for the privilege of your time.

I don’t know if V.P. Harris and the former prez are going to debate. I hope they do but I can see the trump campaign team tying him up to a chair to miss the event. IF they do have a debate and V.P. Harris does not call her opponent Von Shitzinpants she is missing a primo opportunity. Every time the fool lies, and it will be after every question, she should say “whatever you say Von Shitzinpants” or “sure von shitzinpants”. He would drop dead in a fit of apoplexy. He would turn from orange to purple. He would look like what he is, an old, incompetent (and incontinent), fit-pitching toddler. The audience laughing and jeering at him might just cause him to exit the stage giving V.P. Harris all that wonderful free time to state her message, policies, etc.
I would give all I own to see her do that but it would be priceless. I dare say that if they had a debate after that one, the Nielsen ratings would be off the scale.
Ah well, wish in one hand, shit in the other, see which one fills up faster.
I don’t think she would (or should) be quite that crass. Far more effective would be for her to noticeable sniff a couple of times and ask “Donald, do you need to step offstage for a minute for a fresh set of Depends?” Now THAT would be epic. A real life version of this gross scene from a Sammuel jackson movie (P.O.S 51) where he tricks some thugs forcing him to make a batch of his new drug into taking, well something that instead of getting them high causes a rather different result (skip to 1:45):
A bowl of mashed potatoes sitting on Kamala’s podium would do him in, she wouldn’t even have to open her mouth.
If I were Harris, I’d point out that it seems strange that Trump didn’t seem to have any problem with the Sept 10 debate on ABC when his planned opponent was Pres Biden and that it’s only been in the past week that ABC couldn’t be “fair.” I mean, for the past month, as he was preparing to face President Biden for a second debate, he didn’t raise any hackles at ABC or express any concern that the network was somehow going to be “unfair” to him but, suddenly, Kamala Harris becomes his presumptive opponent on that debate stage and now the network is going to be somehow *less* “fair” to Trump?
(I can’t say that I remember Trump whining about how CNN wasn’t going to be “fair” to him before that debate–though it would be perfectly consistent with Trump’s MO–but I do recall his crowing about his “outstanding” performance and no badmouthing of the moderators following the debate because Biden had performed so far below expectations.)
