It’s time to quote Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln is credited with saying, “Public sentiment is everything. With public sentiment, nothing can fail. Without it, nothing can succeed.” It appears that the dam of public sentiment broke today. Americans wanted a younger candidate in the race for president of the United States and unto them it was given, by Joe Biden, in an unselfish and heroic act. The money began to pour into ActBlue, like water.

That’s a wonderful thing to see in and of itself. It’s not just the money, which is crucial for ads, etc., in the last months towards an election. It’s what the money represents, which is an endorsement of the new direction that the Democratic party is taking. And there’s an additional bonus to this: the GOP has lost its entire slate of talking points. Poor Stephen Miller, he went on Fox News and melted down.

And you read here earlier today how Donald Trump feels defrauded and he wants to be reimbursed for all his time and money spent proving that Joe Biden is a doddering old fool. All that’s over now. Now, we have a major reset. We have a situation where we have one doddering old fool and that is Trump. Against him we have a vibrant young woman. And already the talking points are resetting to “the Prosecutor v. the Felon.” Kamala will wipe the ground with Trump. And evidently Miller knows it, or why else is he stammering and almost ready to break into full German? Not to mention the Nazi salute from Dr. Strangelove?

We are on different footing now. What we need to do is get those Prosecutor v. Felon ads cracking and we need to hammer home what an old, doddering, obese, stupid, fat, ugly, inadequate, bum Donald Trump is from now until November 5. There’s plenty of money in the coffers for those ads.

I already thought of that myself, Scott. He can be one of the saints who was a martyr as he stepped back so America could remain a democracy. We need to get in contact with Pope Francis to see what honor that he can bestoe on him in the mean time.

I have heard this many times reported out by those who are in the campaign and I’d guess should know: the money is for Biden Harris and thus transfers directly to her campaign. Were it someone else, they’d have to petition to have access to the money, which could take time, or, worse yet, they’d have to raise it on their own.
