It’s only Sunday morning and it’s becoming obvious how Mighty Trumpty has struck out. And he had it all gamed out so well. He had his bloody ear incident July 13 in Butler, Pennsylvania. He managed to keep the doctors from talking and he even got Ronny to float him a doctor’s letter. Well, okay, Ronny doesn’t have a medical license anymore, but why sweat the small stuff, right? And Donald had big plans for his reset speech. This was going to be the unveiling of the “serene” and “spiritual” Trump, a man whose close call with death had caused an epiphany and who was now going to mount the sermon or sermon the mount oh what the hell was it, again? He was giving to give an important speech, yeah, that’s it. A speech for the ages, one like the one with the loaves and the fishes, that kind of a deal. And he put everybody to sleep for 93 minutes and then the blowback really started happening.

And it gets worse. As of now #StayInJoe is trending and poor Byron doesn’t have a lot to say to that. Being a Black prop for Donald Trump is a real drag, doncha know.

This next one is priceless. If Trump says his hand was covered in blood, then by God, Donalds is going to go along with it — even though nobody else saw the blood, either, as Bill Maher points out. (Psst…maybe it’s the blood on his hands from 1.1 million dead COVID victims, ya spose?)

So much for the new and improved Donald Trump. Here’s what the Biden-Harris campaign released today.

Statement from President Joe Biden on Trump’s RNC Speech

“Last night the American people saw the same Donald Trump they rejected four years ago. For over 90 minutes, he focused on his own grievances, with no plan to unite us and no plan to make life better for working people. He avoided mentioning his Project 2025 agenda, but still proudly flaunted the worst of MAGA extremism. Americans know exactly where he wants to take this country. They know that he inflicted pain and cruelty on the women of America by overturning Roe v Wade. They know that he destroyed our economy once and will inflict pain on the middle class, that he wants to gut the checks and balances of our Constitution and rule as a dictator on day one.

“Donald Trump’s dark vision for the future is not who we are as Americans. Together, as a party and as a country, we can and will defeat him at the ballot box. I look forward to getting back on the campaign trail next week to continue exposing the threat of Donald Trump’s Project 2025 agenda while making the case for my own record and the vision that I have for America: one where we save our democracy, protect our rights and freedoms, and create opportunity for everyone.

On that note, here’s where Democrats are going. We’ve all heard from the celebrities and the Congress members in both chambers, and here’s where we are now.

106 days, folks. Let’s make them count. The corporate media has its marching orders. They’re anti-Biden, pro-Trump. Bear that in mind going forward. We have one job to do, which is to get Biden-Harris reelected. We must focus on that to the exclusion of all else. Trump hasn’t changed at all, except to get worse and you may depend upon that to be the case going forward.

  3. Doesn’t Byron realize that he’s nothing more than the GOP form of DEI? His SOLE purpose in the GOP is to bring more Black voters–nothing more, nothing less. Clarence Thomas was a DEI hire; Amy Barrett was a DEI hire; Aileen Cannon was a DEI hire. EVERY single African-American or Latino or Asian or female GOPer, whether appointed or elected, is little more than the GOP’s version of DEI. And EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM will continue to fight against the principles of DEI and claim they got their jobs on their “merits” (of course, they’ll ignore their only TRUE “merit” is because they happen to be African-American, Latino, Asian or female) and once the GOP gets what it really wants–a USA that reverts to 1825 rather than progresses towards 2125 (where “colored folks” and women “knew their place” and where Latinos and Asians barely existed)–these particular versions of the GOP will no longer be needed in the public eye (the women will be sent back home to obey their husbands–kind of a problem from Margarine Traitor and Lauren the Bobo–and the people of color will be disposed of through enslavement or deportation).

    • Here’s to hoping black voters are on average more intelligent than wipipo and avoid joining this fool in his effort to look like a 21st century uncle tom only lacking much more sense. The reason I use “hoping” is because they too are bombarded on a daily basis with all the crap this country’s media outlets spew every minute which is a very large reason why americans are the stupidest mother-f*ckers in the world. On a planet of hill-billies, americans are the hill-billiest.

      Fight now or lose it all. Of course that message goes to everyone who still values our democratic republic. At this point in time, I’m not sure how many americans still do.

  4. Makes me wish that back when I lived in northern Virginia (suburban DC) and could afford it I’d have bought my car at Don Beyer Volvo! You’re right. That’s the way to do it and his fellow Democrats should all have done the same on Sunday/Monday after the debate. And kept on doing so.

  5. The Don Beyer video is good and necessary. I am even more grateful for the one from Telvin Griffin. I have seriously been waffling lately and losing my resolve. I showed that yesterday on this site when I supported a Harris/Buttigieg ticket.
