This is a step in the right direction. We can’t be a herd of cats now. We can’t waste all our time squabbling amongst ourselves. Not when the worst threat to our democracy, ever, hands down, is running on the opposite ticket.
I am hopeful that every celebrity who is turning on Joe Biden or contemplating doing so will reevaluate what is at hand here and not make a public spectacle out of trashing the man. Joe Biden is our candidate. There is no magic wand to wave to make this contest something different and there’s need for a magic wand. Biden is the best candidate to beat Trump. Beating Trump is all that matters.
I think it’s a good sign that Reiner is doing this and I hope that it might serve as a role model and an incentive to others to unify behind our Democratic candidate.
I hope it is the start of something better now.

Remember when Hillary Clinton asked the country what kind of leader they wanted figuring they might want someone who actually could handle a crisis?
