Life frequently changes on a dime. We have all had experiences where timing is everything. We’re there or not there at the right moment. We look back later and realize that meeting that one person, getting that one interview, even stopping for that one cup of coffee made all the difference in a set of events that later played itself out. Today is July 8, 2024. In less than four months from today we will go to the polls. We may end up knowing who the 47th president is four months from now or we may need to wait a few more days as late ballots are counted, as was the case in 2020. But what we show you here is the worst case scenario, if the unqualified, convicted felon ends up being chosen our next president. That alternative is the stuff of nightmares. None of this is far fetched, is the problem. As a matter of fact, this is probably a tame vision of what can and would occur. Trump has been out to destroy America since he got into politics. Oh, yes, we know. We know he got into it as a lark. We know he saw it as ceremonial in nature and had no idea of the actual work involved. We know that last statement to be absolute fact because when he met at the White House with Barack Obama, he said as much to the outgoing president, “I didn’t know it was so much work.”
He had no idea. What he saw was the pomp and circumstance, the TV appearances, the rapt attention of the nation and the world. That’s what he craved: the attention, the adulation.
And the power. He loved the power. He loved being able to visit with strongmen and dictators and be one amongst them. So make no mistake, Trump will happily give up NATO to please Vladimir Putin. He’ll be signing executive orders like he was autographing hats. He’ll have America destroyed and compromised within weeks.
We must avoid this nightmare coming true at all costs. We must get out the vote. And for the love of God, the Democrats need to unify. Put whatever qualms about Joe Biden there might be to rest. There is no better alternative less than four months out. We need to play the hand we’re dealt.
Biden is in it to win and we need to throw our entire weight behind him, unhesitatingly. We cannot play Russian roulette with our republic right now. Just beat Trump. End of discussion.
