It’s always been somewhat amusing to me that the mainstream media is depicted as an instrument of the left, when in point of fact it has always been directed towards trashing anything progressive, except for a few carefully labeled outlets which present a liberal viewpoint. The corporate-owned media is totally out to get Joe Biden these days and it is an attack which is one for the books. Take a look.

Joe Biden is far from being a basket case like Brian Stelter depicts him as. Biden may have lost a step or two when compared to his own performance but he is not brain dead by any wild stretch of the imagination.
It’s tragic that we are in this situation now, with Biden having to contend against fighting the mainstream media, and the right-wing media, while on the other side of the equation a convicted felon stands poised to retake power. What a freaking mess. The fact of the matter is that Joe Biden in any condition is a better candidate for office than Donald Trump ever was.
If you’re wondering about Brian Stelter, he says he was a “big fan” of Tucker Carlson.
“I probably shouldn’t say this, but I was a big fan of Tucker Carlson in his ‘Crossfire’ days,” Stelter, a leading media reporter, said on Steve Krakauer’s “Fourth Watch” podcast this week. “He had this unpredictable libertarian streak; he was not your average conservative commentator on cable news.”
The former host of CNN’s long-running media affairs program “Reliable Sources,” Stelter was fired by CNN soon after it hired former network president Chris Licht, who was ousted himself a year later.
So we’ve got the ousted dregs of broadcast journalism reviving in order to take cheap shots at Joe Biden. My heart goes out to President Biden. Running for reelection is tough in any event. But in this media climate and with the kind of ageist tripe which is being directed against him, it’s a terrible game to be in right now.
There should be no contest between Bidena and Trump. Biden has proven himself to be competent and capable, whereas Trump was a disaster when in office and all that he’s done in his years out of office is attend one deposition or trial after another. And that’s what he’ll end up doing after he’s defeated in the fall.
But the mainstream media needs to attack Biden on the only front that it can, which is his age. The man has no more control over his age than any of us do, but the fact that he’s the oldest president we’ve ever had and is now running for reelection has released a lynch mob after him.
I don’t pretend to know what the consequences of this election will be if Biden is somehow forced from running for reelection. I foresee nothing but utter chaos. Maybe there’s something I’m missing here.

Well here is a great example of how the press has treated President Biden since day one: The press has almost always referred to him as Biden but refer to that fat orange lying con as President. Or sometimes former president. But for President Biden it’s always been Biden. Even here, it’s Biden. To me, personally, this is a lack of respect for the man and his position in this country. But the press in particular cannot seem to utter the word President when referring to President Biden but certainly can when referring the don the con. To me that is a total lack of respect since he was elected. And it gives the lying con job a faux respect that he doesn’t, and never has, deserved. Just my observation. Perhaps you all see it differently. It’s a pet peeve of mine though. We ourselves must show our President the respect he so rightly deserves in order for the media to do the same.
You see it spot on carol. Never forget “news” organizations are owned by the wealthy and they think they have the power and the right to create what “is”. They lost sight, decades ago, of their jobs–to report the who, what, where, when, and how. They create their own little narratives and call it “news”. The msm is no different from fux. It is not journalism. It is for entertainment purposes only. I used to be a regular contributor to my local public radio station until NPR started sliding into this sewage lagoon. If I want actual news I go to foreign sources because that is where I will find actual journalism. It damned sure doesn’t exist in this country.
It is way past time to put the msm, “news” outlets they call themselves, in their proper place. You know, where we put things like fux nuz and all that garbage and that is in the trash heap of history. We need either new outlets or, well, there is no or. We need to get rid of the old shit and usher in new msm. Not sure where it’s going to come from. We’ll probably have to start from scratch and build the fifth estate from the ground up after razing the vermin-infested shit heaps that are called news organizations. When you have two sides, one wanting to usher in fascism and the other wanting the country to act like it’s in the 21st century, you’re not going to peacefully decide anything: you’re going to fight. Headline: Biden deals with age in interview, a few other age issue things, commercial, hurricane to hit Texas, commercial, gas prices lowest in 3 years, over 200,000 new jobs, now WOW just a yawn as if it was normal.
