Biden Has Not Been Deserted By Key Groups Except In MSM Fantasy Land

This is interesting. You never know what you’ll catch until you drop the line in the water, right? It could be a giant trout or an old boot, or in the case of this commentator today, a result which was the dead opposite of what he expected because he was preaching to the choir, or so he thought. The speaker is a Republican and Black, which is a fairly rare species of being to begin with and he admitted that contrary to his expectations, his listening audience did not want to see Kamala Harris atop the Democratic ticket in four months. Food for thought here.

This man may be surprised but I am not in the least. The reason is that Black people know who Donald Trump is. This entire commentary doesn’t speak to the issue of the vice president’s popularity, to my mind, so much as it speaks to the issue of who and what Trump is about. The Black community knows this.

Trump is not going to do well amongst Blacks in the fall. He can have his token Black spokespeople talk about life on the slave ships, as though they have any clue, and post signs that say Niggas 4 Trump and he can appear on stage with other convicted felons, who also happen to be Black and play Mr. Cool. I would expect him to continue to do just that.

But in the end, any rational Black man or woman is going to be voting for their own interests and that means voting against Trump. This election will be Trump v. Biden. All the histrionics you may be hearing nowadays are due to the fact that the mainstream media feels a powerful need to gin up clicks and engagement and fear is the best way to do that.

So fear it will be. Joe Biden is wise to come forward and face this head on as he has, but I would caution him not to play into it too much because this is a manufactured crisis, not a real one. The debate debacle was a minor stumbling block, not the Rock Of Gibraltor, which suddenly appeared in the road, and has now rendered the road impassable. That aspect of the debate is utterly media manufactured.

Again, I repeat: debate performances are predictive of precisely nothing.

Here is another positive speech about Joe Biden. We need to saturate not only ourselves but the airwaves with these kinds of common sense commentaries as opposed to cringing on the couch and biting our nails, “Oh my Gawd, Joe stumbled during a debate! Let’s load the gun and end it all!” But unfortunately, the hysteria is what you’re going to hear, because hysteria produces clicks and engagement.

It’s a cliche that Democrats snatch defeat from the jaws of victory for a reason. You’re seeing that reason demonstrated this past week. Joe had a bad night and so an entire movement has grown up around that fact. Each day some new Democrat comes forward to say how he must resign. The cat herd mentality demonstrates itself.

When tomorrow dawns and yet another Democrat or two is on board the Trump train, just think of these videos and be calm. As usual, we have to fight not only the Republicans but the idiots in our own party. So be it.
