It’s a shame for Donald Trump that he lives in an era where everything is captured on video and or via social media. For anything noteworthy, there is literally a tweet or a film. Or plenty of tweets and film footage. If you saw the presidential debate earlier this evening you will know that Trump told a number of whoppers. He denied he called military people “suckers” or “losers” and he also claimed that he told his followers to “peacefully” demonstrate on January 6. Alas and alack, all that was necessary was to go grab the footage from the days in question to prove Donald a liar. Once again. Once again.

That didn’t age well, now did it?

Trump got called out on a number of his lies tonight. He did not look good. He especially looked stupid when he kept pushing the Democrats performing abortions post-birth. That did not go over well. That came across as a desperate reach. So did this.

Commentary on the debate will be happening for days but at first blush, this is where Trump blew it bigly, on these topics.

  3. I was under the impression that one of the debate provisions was CNN would do real time fact checking of Trump’s lies, but nothing…… other than Joe calling him out….nothing from the moderators.

    So now to the casual, uninformed voter, perhaps tuning in for the first time in this election cycle……Trump comes off falsely looking like a viable candidate with am amazing accomplishment record, and Joe comes off just like the Trump campaign has portrayed him…….a frail, cognitively challenged old man.

    I have had serval panicked friends email or call me tonight with what an absolute disaster the debate was for Joe. I tried to soothe their misgivings by telling them once Trump’s continual lying is fact checked, things will be better.

    The bad part I didn’t relay is most, if not all of those casual observers who tuned in tonight will never hear about those checked facts, as they turned the channel right after the debate.

    This is an unmitigated disaster.

  4. Like I said previously CNN is a right wing operation that allowed a traitor, rapist, felon, and serial liar to either lie outright or not address the question he was asked. The so called moderators sat mutely by while he did both. ROADKILL AS I SAID. PHUCK CNN.
